Customer Review: My son loves this and hasn't broken it yet.

Some of the past reviewers complained that the spinning disks stopped working quickly. My son has had his since xmas 2008 and it's still working, and as with most young toddlers, he's defnitely not gentle with it. In fact, there has been a few times he's sat on the dang thing.
While he thinks this toy is great fun, it is yet another toy that is not used as it should be. EVERYTHING gets placed on the spinning discs because that is more fun than watching two cars crash into each other. And that's okay for him and for me as a parent. He's learning cause and effect on some basic level, and he's realizing that bigger objects will jam up the race way.
Overall, this is a fun toy. Slightly educational. Comes with cars and men and flags and makes a ton of cool racetrack noises.

My son (1.5) and daughter (3.5) love this toy. We got it in December and it has provided hours of entertainment. But, there is a condition. If you had had us only using the cars provided, it wouldn't have done so good, as they are always getting stuck and they don't go around the track like they should. However, we use the Chuck and Friends cars. These work great! We pile on like 10 cars and they all get going and it is a lot more fun, than the two cars provided. Once my son can consistently NOT put stuff in his mouth, then we will upgrade to another race track, but this one is a great starter and when you put the Chuck cars on it, it is complete chaos and total fun.
(note this is not a quiet toy - well, not with the Chuck cars)

Many other reviewers have covered this extensively, but I wanted to add another review on the durability of this toy.
For the 30 seconds that it worked, my son loved it. The entertainment value is high, and he thought the cars crashing together was just amazing.
Within thirty seconds one of the turntables stopped moving. I realize that another reviewer has mentioned a fix for this, however I should *NOT* have to fix a toy right after it comes out of the box.
The durability of this toy is an incredible disappointment.

We exchanged this item, and the second one we have has worked well for months. It's hit or miss, but it appears if you get a working one you will be fine. Fun toy.

My son received this from his Uncle for Christmas and within a week it had stopped spinning. It still made noise, but that was all. I called Fisher Price, because we did not have a sales receipt (gift) and they did send a postage paid mail tag for us to send it back. We received a "new" one from them in about 4-6 weeks, and right from the start it did not even sit flat. It worked for about 2 hours, then nothing - no sound, no movement. Tried new batteries, same thing. Called Fisher Price and they would replace it again, but this time I would have to pay for shipping! Very poor service from a company that I thought would stand behind their products!!Customer Review: MANY HOURS OF FUN!

I got this racetrack for my two grandsons when they were a year old. I tried it and thought they wouldn't think it was much fun, but was I wrong!! This has been the most used toy that I have ever gotten for them! They love to put the race cars on it but they also like to put all sorts of other things on it & watch them spin around. We have had no trouble with it not working, although I think they have about worn it out! If so, I will be getting another one! Great toy!
