Toys and Games Reviews of Fisher-Price? Roll-a-RoundsT Drop & RoarT Dinosaur

Customer Review: one of our favorites
Summary: 5 Stars

Our one-year-old son has really enjoyed this toy. He received it at six months of age. Initially, he enjoyed holding the balls, playing with the rotating animals, and watching as someone else put the balls in the openings. He's currently enjoying putting the balls in the holes on his own and he likes the music and the little "roar" that the dino makes. Our older children enjoy playing along with him. It's a versatile toy that increases motor skills at each phase. It's durable & has been a purchase well made.

Customer Review: Great for curious little ones
Summary: 5 Stars

My boys (all three) loved this. In the two years since I purchased it not a single piece of it has been broken off! That says a lot considering how much it has been played with. It helped my littlest with his motor skills and kept him entertained at the same time. We went and bought extra ball for it with different themes. It helped him reconize colors and different animals. Great toys.

Customer Review: Love the dinosaur
Summary: 4 Stars

We bought this dino for our son for his first Christmas and he LOVED it. It is very enterraining and makes some cute noises and plays cute songs. And when you get sick of hearing it you can turn it off but the kids can still paly with it. the balls that come with it are clear and have different items inside so the balls alone are fun toplay with too. Our whole family has loved playing with the dino and laughed alot when we did.

Customer Review: My baby loved it.
Summary: 5 Stars

My little daughter loved the toy when we bought it for her on her 1 year old birthday. She quickly learned that she just need to hit the switchs to get the music on so now she plays the balls and getting the music on seperately. I known various parents have mixed reviews I guess every baby is different(My daughter didn't care for Baby Einstein DVDs but loved Baby Sign).

Customer Review: Growing into it
Summary: 4 Stars

My son got this toy early (when he was 4 months), so in the beginning he didn't so much play with it as watch us play with it. Didn't bother us since we knew it was for older babies.

As he's gotten older he's started using more and more parts of it. He's 9 months now and the only thing he doesn't do is put the balls in the holes (he plays with all the other parts of it and seems to like it best when we put he balls in. He now knows where they'll come out so he waits and grabs them as they appear - he finds this vastly entertaining.

Overall, we really like this - it's fun for us, it's fun for him. And hopefully he'll use it to it's full extent as he gets older. I think in general the age recommendation for this is off; it should be for older (maybe starting around a year?). But it's still very safe for younger babies.

Only downside is the construction; since it's molded plastic the balls sometimes get stuck where the plastic pieces won't perfectly join.
