I *love* this toy! My son does too. I bought it for my son when he was 4 mos (it was so hard to wait that long since I'd been eyeing it forever before he was born) and he may not really get it yet (he's 6 mos) but he enjoys it when you play with it with him. The little roll-a-arounds have helped greatly with his motor skills and the toy itself is sturdy enough that he can pull himself up onto it and hold himself there. The Pteradactle and the other bug thingy are great chew toys he' s discovered and they don't come off no matter how much he pries and pulls at them; same with the butterfly. The noises it makes are harldy annoying like many other baby toys and the sound the dinosaur makes when a ball comes out his mouth is *adorable*...My sister doesn't have this toy because they don't have room and they bought this big house thingy before this came out but she says that both her girls (2 and 6) *love* this toy when they go to their friend's houses! This toy is a must-have for parents of infants and toddlers everywhere!Customer Review: Growing into it

My son got this toy early (when he was 4 months), so in the beginning he didn't so much play with it as watch us play with it. Didn't bother us since we knew it was for older babies.
As he's gotten older he's started using more and more parts of it. He's 9 months now and the only thing he doesn't do is put the balls in the holes (he plays with all the other parts of it and seems to like it best when we put he balls in. He now knows where they'll come out so he waits and grabs them as they appear - he finds this vastly entertaining.
Overall, we really like this - it's fun for us, it's fun for him. And hopefully he'll use it to it's full extent as he gets older. I think in general the age recommendation for this is off; it should be for older (maybe starting around a year?). But it's still very safe for younger babies.
Only downside is the construction; since it's molded plastic the balls sometimes get stuck where the plastic pieces won't perfectly join.

I love this toy for my 1 year old daughter. It was a gift for her birthday and she couldn't be happier. As soon as I pulled it out and put it together, she squealed with delight. It was really easy to put together, and even though I couldn't find the screws, fisher price customer service was awesome and they're sending us screws. Of course I found them later, my cats had drug them off when I was putting it together, haha. But the music is fun and she likes dancing to it, and it's not annoying. I can't stand toys with annoying music and this one is not boring, it's constantly changing. Plus I like how it has a soft and loud volume setting on it. The dinosaur is really sturdy, is super cute, and very colorful. And I love the roll a rounds that come with it, they are adorable dinosaur figures. I love this toy because there aren't alot of neat dinosaur toys out there. I'm trying to collect a variety of toys for my daughter, not just animal stuff. I would highly recommend this. :)Customer Review: Better than we expected

This toy was a gift to our two young children for Christmas. I did not expect that they would enjoy this much- Surprisingly, I was wrong! Both children (13 months, 24 months) have enjoyed this toy and have kept coming back to it.
There's no educational value to this toy but both children have enjoyed it- thus the four stars. Not their very favorite toy but one they come back to repeatedly.
Pros:
1. Kids seem to like the different holes and the different routes that the balls take.
2. They like the music- when it plays they bop and swing to it.
3. It's a toy they can play with together. I often find them sitting side-by-side dropping the balls in the different holes and swaying to the music.
4. Sturdy- our 25lb. 13 month old loves to climb on top of this as a step up to the fireplace.
Cons:
1. Like other reviewers, we too have had problems with the balls getting stuck in the center hole.
Customer Review: Great dinosaur for a ball lover!

My third son loves balls as much as the first two - so when we saw this toy, "Santa" had to bring it to him! I thought that he would play and play and play with it but at Christmas the gifts and all of the people, etc are so overwhelming, he really didn't play with much more than the wrapping paper (was 11 months at the time). Now he sits in front of it in spurts and loves to put the balls in and make the cute music play. I love the little head on the dinosaur and find myself rolling the ball in that hole to make the little "roar" sound. We giggle together at that one! I think this is a cute toy, and I am glad that we got it for him. Balls sometimes get stuck the the middle, but we just drop in another ball, and out they come! I would buy it again...that is for sure. At this age, you can't expect them to sit and play with one thing all day - so I have been impressed that he plays for a little while, then later he will come back for another turn.
