We got these trikes for our triplets' 2nd birthday - they took to them right away. Eventhough the pedals are still a little far for them to reach, they scoot along pretty fast along the sidewalks already & it won't be any time before they are pedaling. Very durable & I think they will last for a couple of years until they get their 1st real bicycles. Definitely recommend.
