We recieved this tea set for our older daughter's second christmas, 4 years ago. She has used it constantly since than and is now enjoying tea parties with her baby sister, who is two. Both girls have had hours of entertainment with it! However, I must confess we removed the batteries the minute it was opened and have NEVER put them back! The song is a horrible refrain of "I'm a Little Teapot" over and over and over!! It plays every time the pot it tipped, or bumped, or dropped or moved in any way!! My in-laws brought the box in their car 4 hours and it sang most of the way...My girls don't know it's susposed to sing and have never missed it in the least!Customer Review: Great Set

My daughter got this for Christmas last year when she was two. She is three now, and still plays with it all the time. She absolutely loves serving me tea, and asking if I want cream and sugar with it. She used to just dump the "cream" and "sugar" from their containers, but now she uses the spoons, and really acts like a little lady.
I don't normally fill the set up with water or anything for my little girl, so the only problem I ever had was when my daughter wanted real "tea" and decided that she would use the teapot as a potty so she could have some actual liquid to play with. YUCK!!! Luckily, the set cleans up easily too!! :-)

We bought this for our 1 year old daughter because she was always trying to play with our dishes. Since we got this for her she is enthralled with it.First thing every morning she pours tea for herself, whoever has gotten her up and her dolls and "stirs" her "sugar" We thought this would wear off after the first couple of days but we are on the third month and she continues to love this toy.The sound the lid makes is a little annoying but not so bad that we would not recommend it. This was the best money we have spent on a toy for her since she was born. I would recommend this to anyone who is raising a little lady or gentleman.Customer Review: Fisher Price Musical Tea Set

My daughter got this set when she was three. She LOVED it then and amazingly 3 years later still loves it! This item is kept at her Grandmother's house. She is there usually one - two times a week. My daughter plays with this set every time she is there. She loves serving everyone tea when we visit. The music in the teapot adds to the fun.
I think this tea set is much better than just a plain set (without sound effects). Very durable too!
We picked one up this year for our little neice who is three for Christmas. We hope she enjoys it as much as our daughter! AND, let's face it, you can't beat the price!

Although this tea set plays the tea pot song over and over again, I hardly ever hear it. As a parent, this is a wonderful invention! The kids can push the button over and over again and enjoy the music, but the sound doesn't travel very far.
The set is made out of very durable heavy plastic. It has survived the traumas of being thrown around and chewed on by our puppy. It looks just as good as it did coming right out of the box.
The different pieces are all so very cute and completely match. They are soft colors that will match any room decor so it looks like they belong.
