Fisher Price Musical Tea Set is beautiful,fun to play with, and my granddaughter loves it. It only has one major problem- no one mentioned that the cups all have two holes on the right sides! How do they expect anyone to put real liquids into these cups? I saw something like this in a joke magazine; glasses with holes so the contents spill down the front of the users shirts/dresses!The holes are on the side facing the drinker if the drinker is right handed. Since both of my grand daughters are right handed, they can't use the cups except for pretend. It isn't very practical to teach a child how to really use cups and tea pots since you can't put anything in the cups. The set is really cute and I was looking forward to my grand daughters using them. I am so disappointed and feel cheated.Customer Review: A great, durable, fun tea set even without the noise

My 2 year old daughter received this tea set last Christmas and has played with it almost daily since. My 5 year old son loves this toy as well. They "make" and "serve" tea and coffee and other beverages during the day, and love to pretend to pour and drink and mix. There are enough pieces that fights over the parts are kept to a minimum. Also, the set has survived dropping, throwing, and stepping on with nary a mark.The set is very cute, colorful, and extremely durable.
My husband and I, however, do not like toys that make noise. Call us party-poopers, but we removed the batteries from the top of the tea pot the very first day. The tea pot, sans music, is every bit as fun as it was before, and is easier on adult ears.
With or without music, this is a good, durable, fun toy.

I purchased this tea set 2 months ago after searching for a plastic version for my 2 yr old. Most I had found were ceramic/breakable. This is very colorful and perfect for my daughter's little hands, she can pour the tea pot with no trouble due to its light weight. She has loved it since she saw the box and plays with it daily. The only negative is that the price has increased from 9.99, which I purchased it at,up to 49.99 and is now currently selling for 39.99. It is well worth 9.99 but I certainly would advise against purchasing it at these higher prices that Amazon is trying to sell it at now. You will be disappointed at having paid 40.00 for it. Hopefully, Amazon will again price it at the more appropriate amount of 9.99 which fits for this plastic toy.Customer Review: Do not waste your money!

This is not like an authentic teapot set. The teapot cannot be opened in any way (no lids). I was disappointed (especially with all the positive reviews)...I purchased this because it advertised "musical"...This is NOT MUSICAL!! The only sounds it make come from the teapot itself, which, by the way, does not allow battery replacement. The sound is not musical box quality, but rather that cheap, irritating "beeping" sound that a digital watch might make if it were to sing "I'm a little teapot." It makes this noise every time it is moved, so be prepared to be annoyed! This is pretty cheap for Fisher Price standards. Oh, and the "magic pouring sound" is not a pouring sound at all, but a "ker-ching" sound--also irritating. Just another noisemaker.Customer Review: Great Buy for little girls

II BOUGHT THIS TOY FOR MY NEICE LAST MONTH AND SHE LOVED IT. SHE HAS A BIT OF A PROBLEM NOT DROPPING CUPS AND SPOONS ECT. WHEN "SERVING" TEA BUT ALL IN ALL A NICE BUY ALSO THE LID WHICH MAKES THE NOISE CAN BE SOME WHAT ANNOYING AND AFTER 2 MONTHS THE BATTERIES RAN OUT AND WERE HARD TO REPLACE THE SPOONS ARE ALSO EASILY LOST AND THE TRAY IS JUST BIG ENOUGH FOR EVERYTHING YOU HAVE TO ARRANGE IT JUST RIGHT A TASK OFTEN RESERVED FOR ME OR MOM.
