Toys and Games Reviews of Fisher-Price Musical Tea SetCustomer Review: Cute, but not perfect. Summary: 4 Stars
I bought the Fisher Price Tea Set for my daughter for Christmas. And she does love it. But it isn't what I thought it would be. I actually believed the the teapot would make "pouring" sounds when you tipped the pot. But it just plays a song (I'm a little tea pot) and the top is to hard for my 3.5 year old to get off of the pot. But other than that, it was worth what I paid for it. (Do not but it for more then 9.99, I have seen it at Walmart for that much!!) it has brought many "tea parties" to our home, and my daughter loves it.
Customer Review: 2yr old appropriate! Summary: 5 Stars
We bought this for our 2 year old daughter for her birthday. She loves little cups and spoons and plates and it was very cute and colorful. We almost got her a real set but now I'm glad we got this one because it is not breakable and she is pretty rough sometimes with her stuff. It plays a digital "I'm a little teapot" which is tolerable, much better than a version that sings it. And you barely notice it, but she likes noises so it is a favorite of hers. Good gift idea too, not expensive but gets TONS of playtime!
Customer Review: Disappointed Children Summary: 1 Stars
My 3 year old and 18 month old were so excited to get this tea set for Christmas. Within minutes my 3 year old wanted to fill it with water and fill all the cups. That's when we discovered two holes in the side of each cup. It's a mess. The children were so sad. Now it sits in the cupboard and I doubt it will get played with much more. I'm disappointed I was not warned before purchasing about the holes in the sides of all the cups.
If you are debating between two sets don't go with this one.
Customer Review: Adorable! Summary: 5 Stars
We got this for our 1 1/2 year old for Christmas and she loves it. We all play tea party all of the time. The colors are great and the cups, tea pot, plates and bowls are a great size; easy for little hands to use. It is really cute when you push the button on top of the tea pot because it plays the song "I'm a little tea pot". My only complaint is when the lid is tipped over it makes noice until you lay it flat, it can get really annoying if it gets tipped over accidentally, but other than that we love it!!
Customer Review: favorite toy by a mile Summary: 5 Stars
My daughter received this for her 2nd birthday and immediately went around the room asking everyone "Want tea?". She has since developed her own routine of asking which cup you want, adding cream and sugar, stirring (always with the correct spoon - each one has a different shape to match its cup) and warning you that the tea is hot so you blow on it before you drink. She also does a great dance to the teapot song. It's been over 2 months since we got this toy and she plays with it every day. A real winner!
