Toys and Games Reviews of Fisher-Price Miracles and Milestones - Mix and Match Musical MobileCustomer Review: Mobile is not that bad Summary: 4 Stars
Despite the fact that this mobile used a lot of batteries (luckily we use rechargable ones!) and that you could hear a slight buzz noise while it turned, this is a good mobile. My song enjoyed watching it and the lights that it made. It turned off in 10 minutes which was good because by that time he had fallen asleep. The light was a good feature for the times he woke up at night and I was searching for his Binky! And when he got older I removed the moving mobile part and put the birds on the music base. Now he is 1 year old and still plays with it. He will push the buttons to play the music or hit the birds to hear them crackle or rattle. Overall if you dont mind it using batteries a lot, the buzz sound is not that bad. And actually babies enjoy "white noise" which is what I would consider it.
Customer Review: Mobile stops turning Summary: 2 Stars
This appealed to me since I would be able to use it longer than the standard mobile, but it ended up not working when we wanted it to anyways. I liked to idea, but just doesn't work. This mobile constantly stops working (before the 8 minutes are up)...it stops going round. The music continues & the lights are still on, but the base stops rotating, it seems as though it always gets "stuck" and we have to push it to get "unstuck". We've changed the battery and that doesn't seem to help as the base keeps getting stuck, I contacted Mattel to get a voucher since it's been more than 90 days since I bought this, can't return it in the store. (It's kind of big and ugly too, didn't expect that from the picture.)
Customer Review: Last longer than most mobiles Summary: 5 Stars
We haven't had this mobile for long but I think it's great. I love the fact that we can use longer than regular mobiles. The projection is great not too bright or too soft. The lullabies and the classical music is nice. You can the mobile going without any music.
After the baby outgrows the mobile you can use as music box and still have the soft toys and projection attached to it.
I've had this mobile less than a week; I am keeping the box just in case anything happens, but so far everything is great and my little guy loves to look at it and my 2 year old loves the projection light and music.
It takes 4 C batteries.
Customer Review: Battery Eater Summary: 1 Stars
My mom bouth this toy for my son. The music portion of the mobile is fine. Plays classical & lullaby music. At night you can see the stars on top of the ceiling which we loved. However, the mobile moves so slow that you have to look closly to see if it is actually moving. And the whole unit eats batteries like crazy. I only used to about two months and had to change the batteries about 6 times. Even with fresh batteries sometimes the music won't play, or the light for the stars wouldn't come on. I highly suggest not buying this product. In fact, the next time I'm in a city that has toy-r-us, i will be returning it.
Customer Review: Fabulous - BUY IT Summary: 5 Stars
We have one in each of our twin's cribs. This is the single gadget that swear we couldn't have survived the first year without! The mobile was great, no problems, but the light is the true gem! It's part of our sleep routine and the stars can be projected with or without rotation and with or without music. We used it to soothe infants in the night and now our kids activate it themselves to fall back to sleep (no mommy needed). They are now 2, way past the recommended age and I'm pretty sure we'll have to attach it to all future beds. It also makes a great nightlight for parents checking on the babies.
