Toys and Games Reviews of Fisher-Price Mickey's Surprise ClubhouseCustomer Review: My children LOVE this toy. Summary: 4 Stars
First off, I should say I never put the batteries in this toy. My oldest child has a speech delay, and I have been told by multiple speech therapists to avoid ANY toys that make noise, as then the children don't have to.
My boys are 4yo and 2.5yo. Slightly older I think than some people who purchased this toy. I would NOT recommend it for a child under 2yo. They will get frustrated with it. However, my 2.5yo can easily take it apart/put it back together and loves that aspect of it. He turns it all upside down, etc. and then says "meeska mooska mickey mouse!" and turns it back and puts it back together. YES! the pieces come apart, but I believe this makes it better and allows for more imaginative play. You can take the hand off and float it around the room for instance. You can pull it apart and use different portions and 'find' all the pieces to the clubhouse (as they do in one episode or another).
My kids loved this toy so much that they spent 2 days not playing with their other toys because they were so enthralled with it. If your kids LOVE the mickey mouse clubhouse show and are old enough to not get frustrated I would HIGHLY recommend this toy.
I gave it 4 stars only because from other reviews it does not do the sounds it should, etc. Like I said, its a feature I find unnecessary and its been a wonderful toy without it.

Customer Review: Need to correct the manufacturer's description Summary: 4 Stars
I researched this clubhouse and the Mickey Mouse Clubhouse that came before this one. Comparing the two, this one has definitely made some improvements: more durable and comes with three figurines instead of just one, more things to do...the best part however, is the fact that it plays the "Hot Dog Song." That is what my 2 and a half year old loves the most about the toy.
My biggest complaint is that the manufacturer's description from amazon is WRONG! There is not a slide and the mousekadoer does not light up and flash. You do not press an umbrella for a car to shoot out. The manufacturer's description on the box does not say that either so Amazon needs to fix their description.
Another thing I wish is that it came with Toodles like the old clubhouse and that the Mousekadoer would light up like the old clubhouse. That would be the best of both worlds (no pun intended). Otherwise, it seems to be an improvement off of the old clubhouse.
Customer Review: At least the kids enjoy it. Summary: 3 Stars
I purchased this toy for my 18 month old son for christmas and am quite disappointed in the durability. My son loves the Mickey Mouse Club house so overall for him the toy is very enjoyable. He carries the characters around, pushes the car, etc. However for adults it is a pain. The toy does not stay together. The pieces just rest on one another there are no locking parts. I'm constantly putting the gates back on, connecting the garage to he base, connecting base to the "clubhouse" and reattaching the hot air balloon. This toy is also very loud. There is an on/off switch, but my son and out 3 year old daughter love to hear the song and the characters talking. We did put scotch tape over the speakers, something that we do with many toys, to make the volume a little less irritating.
Overall, if your children really enjoy the show they will enjoy this toy. Just make sure you get a good deal on it is definitely not worth the listed price.
Customer Review: Not worth the money. Summary: 2 Stars
My 3 year old son loves to watch Mickey Mouse Clubhouse on t.v., so I figured this would be a great Christmas gift for him. Unfortunately whoever designed this thing didn't have a good understanding of how 3 year old boys play. The different components do not lock together, so the whole thing comes apart whenever the play set is bumped, tilted, scooted, or picked up. I'm getting really tired of hearing "Mommy, fix it!" every 5 minutes.
Also, this toy is very loud and has no quiet setting. The "Hot Dog" song is very repetitive and it doesn't say very many other things. The figurines don't fit into the balloon basket or the car very well. It doesn't really do that many different things either. I doubt my son would be very interested in this toy if it wasn't based on his favorite show.
It might be an okay toy for [...], but definitely not worth the [...] I paid.
