It's made just like every other Little People set you've got but this one comes w/ an important message! My kids loved to play w/ our breakable set so I ordered this for them. They play with it constantly and can reenact the trip to Bethlehem, the birth of Jesus, and the visits by the shepards and the wise men. I highly recommend this set as a FUN way to teach the kids about our wonderful saviour! I love this nativity even though it I think it is pricey. There are no other ones like it. They are Fisher Price Little People so you know they will hold up forever! There aren't any other plastic nativity sets out there. Get the set that plays the song when you place the angel on top of the stable. It is so worth the price when you know they will play with it every year. I even take this to church when I teach my 3and4yr old class about Jesus birth. I just bought this for my 16 month old. I wanted it last year, but I waited too late and it sold out (everywhere!) Now my only dilema is whether to let my child play with it during the Christmas season or save it for Christmas morning. I will probably bring it out when we decorate the tree so my toddler will have her own "decorations" to play with. I love sharing toys that teach values - we have Noah's ark also and it has already gotten lots of play time!Customer Review: Very cute!

I ordered this so my 14 month old will be able to play with it this year and in the years to come and hopefully leave my nice set alone. She loves the Little People toys and we hope to use this as a teaching tool also. She's a little young now, but with the longlasting reputation Fisher Price has we expect it to be around for a few years.The stable was a little smaller than I expected, but the figures are what I was looking for, and they are adorable!

I agree with the other reviews that while this is a nice toy that does help to tell the true story and theme of Christmas...it is not worth the month. I got mine instore and onsale and was glad I did not pay full price. The manger does not do anything, would have been nice to have doors or something so essentially you are paying for the additional Little People characters. I'm glad my daughter has it, but I am also glad I did not pay full price.
