It was a disappointment to find this item out of stock in the month of November with Christmas more than a month away. Everyone I showed this to wants one and keeps asking that I find it somewhere, but it is not in your stores. This is a great toddler tool. A nativity that they can pick up and look at and you can talk to them about--that a little one is not forbidden to touch. If this were in your stores, I have a feeling you would have a hard time keeping it in stock. I am curious as to why this is so unavailable.Customer Review: Love Our Little People

We were so excited when our Little People Nativity Set arrived this afternoon that we couldn't wait to open it and set it up. It is adorable! My 4 year old went nuts over it and my 11 month old couldn't keep her hands off of it. I ordered this one because it did not come with the lights and sounds. We don't need music with everything! Thank you so much for offering this wonderful set at such a great price. Oh...talk about quick service. I ordered it Wednesday evening and it was delivered Friday afternoon. I bought three of these, one for each of my grandsons, and one to use for a children's lesson at my church.(I am a Lutheran Pastor) What a terrific way to share the Christmas story with little ones; however, how do you explain the absence of Joseph. Yes, the description says there is a Joseph, but any child knows the guy in brown with a shepherd's crook would be a shepherd.
FP, How about an add on set with a real Joseph, another shepherd, and maybe some additional animals perhaps camels for the magi???

I love Fisher Price, they make the best toys ever. I enjoyed this nativity so much that I bought one for my in-laws, my brother in-law's family, and my sister in-law's family. There are also add ons you can purchase like a shepherds set. I think this is a great way for kids to understand the true meaning of Christmas - without breaking any of mom's fragile decorations. Warning though- I brought this to a play group and all the kids wanted to have/hold baby Jesus. We had a fun lesson on the importance of sharing.Customer Review: not what I thought

Ad indicted I was purchasing the musical nativity set - that is not what I received. While expensive, I will return nonetheless and try to find the one I wanted. As far as the toy goes, the stable could have been constructed a little better but I suppose they don't expect this toy to stay out and be played with year round like the other little people sets. Other than that, set is a cute one for the little people in your home, especially not having to always be told "don't touch" around the holidays.
