My 2.5 year old twin boys love this toy! I chose it as they are starting to engage in imaginative play, 'cooking' in their kitchen, playing with puppets, etc. They know what the grocery store is, and can relate to the concept of selecting items and bringing them to the register.
What surprised me is how engaged they have become with this toy. They love pressing the buttons, repeating the words and sounds and arranging the food on the shelves. For the first week they had it, it was the first toy they played with in the morning and the last one. Weeks later they still play with it every day!
