I recently bought this for my 9 month old and she loves it! She loves pushing it back and fourth and loves dancing to the music! She loves to play with the people that came with it. It is a great early learning toy, it is helping her with her grasping and cordination and learning that 1 thing can go into another. She also learned in NO time at all where the button was that made the sounds. As for the recommend age of 1 year, We have had no problem with the durability or safety issues. The van has been kicked bumped and sat on many times and is still going strong!Customer Review: Fisher Price does it again!

Again, hats off to Fisher Price for creating such a wonderful product. My daughter (now age 2) recieved this for Christmas this past year and it remains her favorite toy. She loves to push it around and take out the figures and play with them. And I love that it's safe and durable for her. It's great that it's interchangeable with all the Little People figures, not only just the ones that come with the van. Great hours of fun, you WON'T be dissappointed. I saw that some parents only put 1 star for educational. So not true! This toy is one of the first toys that my daughter was able to learn how to put and take. She loves to put the mom and baby in and out of the car. She even knows to put the baby in the back, mom in the front. Also she never could understand how to push buttons until this toy. Now she tries to push everything that looks like a button. She is 10 months old and I have never seen her play this way before. My daughter recieved this van on her first birthday along with the little people house. It is so cute and fun. The van comes with a Mommy, a Baby and a stroller. There are several different sounds that the van makes also. I really love the fact that my daughter has a van to drive around the house since our 2 year old son won't let her touch his "boy" cars and trucks. We love it and love all the other little people toys!!
They are kid friendly and provoke imaginary play

My daugher loves to fill this minivan up with all kinds of Pooh characters, little people and animals, bottles, well....anything she wants to haul. She runs this back and forth across the living room! And it makes some fun sounds. It is alittle snug trying to get people in the front seat - but I feel this is a safe toy for her and she loves it.Good value for the money and it gets played with alot!
