Toys and Games Reviews of Fisher-Price Little People Lil' Movers AirplaneCustomer Review: Ugly, Clunky, and just waiting for a recall Summary: 1 Stars
We got this for a gift. This has to be the ugliest worst designed piece of plastic I've ever seen in my life. Why do toy designers think young children need such ugly trash? Why do parents think children need such junk? It feels gross in the hands, the people are hideous, and it is entirely synthetic. Bleck. It is huge and bulky and the sounds are annoying. Looks super cheap and tacky.
And since it has the legendary quality of toys made in China, we can all expect it to be recalled any day for some creative poison du jour an enterprising factory owner decides to give our kids.
Simple natural toys are all children need to develop rich imaginations.
Customer Review: Good toy Summary: 3 Stars
I bought this for my 21 month old son who loves airplanes. He enjoys the sounds & song it plays when pushing the pilot down, and likes the up and down motion when rolling the plane on the ground, and opening and closing the door. Altho he generally plays really well by himself, this toy doesn't hold his interest too long. When i play with him, he will use it more, but he is really into moving parts, and this only has a door that opens and the people who move. So, if your child isn't so into moving and manipulating parts of a toy, this would be great. He does enjoy it here and there, but he totally prefers Mr. Potato Head becuase it is much more interactive.
Customer Review: Subtle messages? Summary: 4 Stars
We bought this airplane for our little girl after she began to spot every airplane in the sky no matter how far away it was. She enjoys flying it around and will dance to the music it plays. But after looking at it for a while, I realized there are NO male characters as part of this toy. I have no problem with a female pilot, but NO male characters? seems a little odd. And we didn't buy the pink airplane. The little people are also quite butch in appearance. Just interesting to notice the subliminal messages in our kids toys. Kind of like the number 69 i saw on the picture of the firetruck on our baby einstein exersaucer. very unnecessary.
Customer Review: Great toy but overpriced Summary: 4 Stars
My 2yr old recieved this item for her birthday and absolutely loves it. The aircraft makes several cute noises including the "bong bong" noise when flight attendents are being notified it's time to start moving.
The figures include a pilot, a passenger and an arrivals team member ready to greet the inbound passengers. This is great toy and especially good if your little one flies a lot or has an attraction to airplanes.
I would suggest buyers search for a good price online because some retailers (uh-um) tend to mark this item up 2-3 times higher than other merchants. Try the manufacturers website for a good deal.
Customer Review: Little people airplane Summary: 5 Stars
He gets hours and hours of play time out of all his little people toys each week (sometimes each day) but I really like this one because he loves to take his toys out of his room and into the living room and there is no carpet in the hall from his room to the living room and same goes for the living room and because of that I'd rather him "fly his plane" to the living room than to "drive his little people school bus" to the living room. I also like that it has a handle because it makes it much easy for him to grib and not drop it. All in all I love all this little people toys. They are all made very well. Fisher price thinks of everything.
