My 17-month-old son has many high quality Fisher Price Toys, and my most recent purchase was the Little People Fun Park. I am very disappointed in the quality of this toy. The Ferris wheel and the merry-go-round do not snap in very well. All of the other Fisher Price Toys that my son has (new purchases, gifts and used) are of great quality. I thought this would be a good purchase for my son, and instead I believe that the $30.00 I spent on the toy would have been better spent on another brand. I am shocked by the poor quality of this, even my mother-in-law was shocked when she came over and so how light and flimsy this toy was. Fisher Price has many great toys, and I only wish this had been another one.Customer Review: fun for preschool and up...

I was surprised to see so many negative reviews for this toy. We just bought it for my son's third birthday because after a trip to Disney, he is obssesed with "rides". True, we have to play together so I can help him send the cart racing down the rollercoaster track. But, what's so bad about that? We look at each other with awe and delight when the cart actually makes the loop-de-loop. We've had no problem with the track coming apart, or the wheels on the cart running slowly, or the fact that the airplane ride and ferris wheel are detachable. However, I have another son who is 1.5 yrs. old, and he is waaaay to young to "understand" the point of the fun park. I'd say it's best suited to ages 3-6.Customer Review: Max and JJ's opinion

This toy is very attractive, but it's a pain. The circular part of the track never stays in place and is always somewhere else in the house besides where the toy is. Also, the part that drops the cars onto the track also falls off easily. Small children don't know how to reattach the parts to you are constantly putting it back together. The ferris wheel detaches constantly also and the merry-go-round flings the people out. Totally frustrating toy for small children and it is usually ignored, in pieces, and I personally hate the thing. We all love the other toys, (ie. farm, house, fire dept) but this one falls below expectations in a major way. I bought this for my son & it is constantly falling apart. The ferris wheel can't be turned without if falling out of place & then you have to hold it with one hand & turn with the other. Little kids just don't get this. The cars usually fall off the track & don't complete the loop de loop. If you tried it 10 times it would probably work 2 times. The track also comes apart easily. I do like the storage area for the cars & people. The people are very durable & safe. I've always been a fan of the little people, as I have a huge collection from my childhood, but why can't they make them like they used to? Built to last. This track will probably go in the trash within 1 year of buy date.Customer Review: Good reviews here.

My sons (ages 4 1/2 & 3) absolutly LOVE this fun park. Both of them have already spent hours(&hours)hysterically laughing while playing with it. To them it's hilarious when the car falls off of the rollercoaster or the little people fly out of the airplane (because it is spinning too fast~)...maybe that's not a good thing HA! But hearing their laughter makes it well worth the price. As far as the durability, the only complaint I have is with the ferris wheel. It will not stay connected but it does work even when not attached, so my kids still can enjoy it.
Other than that, I love it. Everything stores under the planes and is easy to put away.
