Customer Review: Lots of imaginary play for 3-year-old girl

I bought this on a whim at Target for my daughter, who just turned 3. To my surprise, not only did she want to play with it the minute she got home, but she played with it WAAAY longer than I expected!
She usually has a really short attention span, and we tend to switch toys a lot. Although this toy looks kind of boring, she found tons to do. It helped that we also used other Little People and her other horses and ponies with it. She invited her other little people to tea in the upstairs of the treehouse, and then gave all her ponies a shower in the flower shower, and on and on. I'm now thinking of getting the carriage that goes with this and other fairy or palace themed fisher price sets.
I agree with reviewers who said it really should come with other little people and/or animals. Luckily we had little people on hand from the farm Little People Animal Sounds Farm and zoo Little People Animal Sounds Zoo sets, both of which I highly recommend, too!
I was a little surprised that this toy didn't have any sounds with it, but in some ways, that's nice (for the parent, that is). My daughter really loves the animal sounds in the zoo set, though, and it sparks all kind of imaginary play when she hears the hippo or the zebra "talking" to her!
Also, be sure to note that the fairy in this set is NOT shaped like the other little people, so will not fit on your other little people cars or scooters. Unlike most little people, she has bendable legs.
