Customer Review: Very colorful and cute... but the volume is not loud enough

I bought this toy for my 9 month old son... while it looks cute, colorful.. the speaker is at the back of the caterpillar's head. So when you open the toy and put it on your lap to read with your kid, it is not audible enough.
I wouldn't have ordered it I had known this before.

We purchased this for my son for Christmas. He was 6 months old at the time. He has been given many opportunities to play with it, but seems to find it boring. The tunes are cute and volume adjusts.Classic pieces of nursery rymes with very basic numbers and colors relating to text.I bought this for baby's first birthday. My son is 8 months old and he has had this toy for about a month and half. It is his favorite toy, even when given something new he still goes back to it. When we were shopping for christmas toys I showed this to my daughter and she was dancing in the cart instantly. She was 11 months at the time. She really enjoyed it for the time she saw it. Can't wait for her to open it. The songs are great and and is a very educational toy.
