My son loves this book because of the lights and music. The pages are easy for him to grasp and turn and also to chew on which means this book is a great go to toy for him. The volume is adjustable which is nice. The only draw back is the songs always start with the song on the left side so when he is constantly opening and closing you hear the same few notes over and over again.Customer Review: Lack Of Entertainment

I see the educational value of this toy and hope my son will like this toy eventually. My son got this as a birthday gift and NEVER showed any interest. He is now 22 months old and still doesn't play with it.
I would recommend that you buy your child a talking toy phone, something he or she can easily hold and play with. Kids seem to prefer that over something bulky.

Our granddaughter takes this toy to bed with her. The pages are easy to move and the nursery rhymes are familiar to her.
My only problem with this toy is the volumn, it was hard to hear. However, it may have been the batteries. We used the ones that came with the toy. We are replacing them to see if the volumn is any better.

My 20-month-old has enjoyed this toy. At first, she played with it a lot and had her favorite songs to hear. But the appeal of it hasn't really lasted. She picks it up every now and then and listens to one of the songs, but I think she got bored of it pretty fast. It could be just her individual personality though - she would much rather me or Daddy read a book to her. :)Customer Review: Great toy, hard to please son loved it!

My son is the typical toddler, he goes from one to to another. Nothing really suits his fancy for very long. When we bought this from the store on the car ride home (about an hour) he played with the whole time instead of falling to sleep like he normally does. He still plays with it a lot now too. He loves it. And I love that it sings to him and lights up. Very nice toy!
