My 13mo was so afraid of it at first but his big brother, who is 3yo, did an awesome demonstration for him. Now he gets on and actually caught on how it works pretty quickly. The cause and effect kept his attention and he is very excited when he is playing on it.
The different levels allows my 3yo to play for a little while but he goes through the activities too quickly. That's OK with me because now I don't have to worry about them fighting over it.
I also love the fact that it is cordless. Nice product!!!

I bought the smart bounce pony for my daughter's first birthday. Although she isn't quite tall enough to make it bounce alot she absolutely loves the toy. She mastered getting on and off in a matter of one afternoon of playing. She will stand in front of it and lean back while holding on and it still doesn't tip. GREAT JOB!!! The base is really wide enough and set up so it won't tip (my biggest fear relieved). She doesn't get into the tv portion of it yet, but I'm sure she will. What a neat toy. I do home daycare so I figured this would be an excellent way to incorporate education and fun into my toddlers' daily experience. I was wrong. Although the kids love to play on the pony, the TV part of it seems useless. The kids are so enthrawled with the pony that the TV just fades into the distance for them. Even my [...] gets frustrated when I ask her to look up and see what the TV is doing while she rides. The concept is great, don't get me wrong. I gave this pony to my grandson for Christmas. I understand that he truly enjoys riding the pony & likes to watch the TV along with it. I am sure he is learning from the TV. The delivery time was great. My daughter-in-law did find this same pony at a local store after Christmas at 70% off making the cost only $[...], but I needed it for Christmas & felt that I had received it at a fair value, especially since there was free shipping, but that extra $[...] would have been great.Customer Review: Loves it! My 2.5 year old little girl lives it. She loves to bounce and has figured out how to turn on the noise without needing to turn on the TV. Sometimes I think she prefers to use it without the TV. She will repeat all the words they say on the television when it is on so I know she is learning. She LOVES the music. Definitely worth the money. It seems to be very durable and definitely easy to move around. Remember to turn it off to preserve battery life.
