Toys and Games Reviews of Fisher-Price Laugh & Learn Learning PuppyCustomer Review: Even grandpa loves it! Summary: 5 Stars
I got this for my daughter about 3 months ago, it is still the toy she goes to first. None of her "old" toys get played with, but this one does. She grabs it when we are going bye bye. And even my dad will play with it with her. He refuses to play with any other toy that makes any kind of noise. So this toy is great for happy little kids and grumpy old men at the same time. I love how it plays the whole song, and not just half or stop in the middle where you have to push something else to continue it. It teaches, body parts, colors and songs. And it has cute little sayings/ You push his nose, and he says "nose" push it again, he says "red nose", push it again, he says "a choo" then on another level, he sings "itsy bitsy spider", says achoo" then "got my nose!" So far I have found no faults in this toy. It is educational and fun. I would recommend this toy to any child. And it was reasonably priced also.
Customer Review: Baby Love Summary: 5 Stars
My daughter is 6 months old and recieved this toy for christmas and loves it! She chews on his ears and laughs every time we get it out! it is all stained and worn but works like new. It is VERY anoying for us... There is a volume switch in the back that allows you to pick from two levels of volume or completly turn it off. Also one of it's feet will turn it off until that foot is pressed again, this is good for us, but frustrates the baby when she pushes it accidently. At first it was in some kind of battery saver mode where it would only play half of the songs like ABC but only to P (LOL)when we turned it off and back on this problem was solved. Overall it is great if used only periodically! At first we let her have it all the time and my husbund was ready to burn it, but now we let her play with it when we are prepared for the noise only so that no one kills it. :)

Customer Review: Adorable! Summary: 4 Stars
I ordered this for my 6 month old for Christmas. At the time it was priced at about $15. She is our third child, and it's hard finding things we haven't already passed down. We've never had a product like this one and I'm glad I got it for her. It's adorable and has a sweet voice. No scary laughs or anything like that. It works really easily. Right now she chews a lot on it, but even with that, it's holding up well.
The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because it doesn't seem to finish songs. I've checked to make sure the demo tag has been pulled or that it's set right, but everything seems fine. It will start singing a song, and then just stop. I don't think it's the batteries yet because every other feature works fine. Still, it's an adorable toy and I'm very pleased with it! She brightens every time she sees it too, so I think she's happy I made the purchase as well!
Customer Review: Great Toy.... But Too Easily Broken Summary: 5 Stars
I agree that this a a great toy. My 18 month old son has loved it since 6 months. I have the same complaint that others have about the durability. The ear broke within a month. Today the left foot that allows you to switch modes broke. Once that one broke, so much functionality was lost that I felt trying a bit of repair work was in order. Both switches were "broken" because the wires to the switches had been pulled out. I'm a bit of a geek, so I got my soldering iron out, cut a hole on the inside (behind where the batteries go), pulled the stuffing out the foot, pulled the foot inside out, pulled the switch out of its "pocket", soldered the wires back on, and put it back together. That switch is working fine -- with no damage to the outside of the toy. I didn't try the ear -- I figured my fix wouldn't last very long there either. One good tug on the ear, and it is broken.
Customer Review: My Niece's Favorite Toy Summary: 5 Stars
I bought this puppy for my niece's 1st birthday on a whim. One day when she was visiting about a month in advance of her birthday, she started to get fussy, so we gave this to her early. She LOVED this puppy. This became her new favorite toy, but since she was here for a 3 day visit without her regular toys, maybe it was a fluke.
She left, I kept the puppy, wrapped it and gave it to her a month later. The minute she opened the package her eyes lit up - she remembered the puppy and which foot to play the song she wanted. She still plays with "LP" as her parents have nicknamed it 6 months later. This is one of the toys that we give her when she starts to get upset. It calms her down. It has a great variety of songs (and a permanent off button on the back (AND a volume control)). She even likes to dance to some of the songs. GREAT purchase for the money.
