Toys and Games Reviews of Fisher-Price Laugh & Learn Learning Music Player

Customer Review: BEST #1 Toy
Summary: 5 Stars

This is simply the very best 1st toy for a baby, PERIOD. If it seems a bit expensive, believe me it's worth every penny in happiness and satisfaction for a little one! If you only have a limited amount of money to spend on toys for your baby, please get this toy. It's so much learning and fun in one package and is lasting enjoyment for YEARS whereas other toys are limited in scope and don't entertain or last even half this long!

I bought this for my great grandson when he was first born and played it for him. He's played with it continuously since then...it was always the favorite take-a-long toy when going places in the car. He likes it in his bed and takes it all over the house. He's 20 months now and it's still one of his favorite toys. He bounces with the music and tries to sing along with it. He has some favorites...Row Row Row your Boat and the ABC song. When very small, baby can press the big button easily to play it and later they can press the smaller buttons and change the sequence of the songs...play them over and over, etc.

We call it his "radio". We wanted to find a wind-up Fisher-Price radio like the ones we bought our daughters when they were little, but couldn't find any. Instead we found this and weren't sure whether it would be as good, but it's been GREAT! It is VERY durable, having been thrown on tile floors and out of the crib numerous times, but has never failed to play. It goes a long time on a set of batteries too, which is nice. Also like the volume control for when he goes to bed and wants to play it...it doesn't have to be so loud.

Finally, with kids, grandchildren, and great grandchildren, the very best toys with the most lasting enjoyment have always been FISHER PRICE toys!

Customer Review: The best toy I ever purchased for a baby
Summary: 5 Stars

This is an awesome toy! I got it for my 10 month old and he absolutely loves it. He gets a huge smile whenever he hears the introductory song 'Let's Sing!' that comes on when you turn it on.

I save it for the car to encourage him to sit down easily and it works like a charm. He's learned to use all the buttons and really loves to hear us start singing along, and then hits the stop button and laughs hysterically.

As an added bonus none of the songs are irritating or grating - and no one is singing "It's a Small World After All' always a deal breaker in little kids playthings.

Customer Review: Favorite Christmas Present!
Summary: 5 Stars

My daughter who just turned 1 received this music player for Christmas and it has been her absolute favorite gift out of all her Christmas and birthday presents. From the moment she got it, she has been dancing and singing along (in her own way). It's so cute, even when she just sees the toy, she'll pick it up and start dancing even if it's not playing music. She got a toy CD player for Christmas, but she likes this one much better. The small size is just perfect for her to carry around. Definitely recommend this toy.

Customer Review: Toddler Friendly
Summary: 5 Stars

This toy has been a hit with my son and nephew from ages 1-3 years. We've had ours for close to 2 years now and it is still going strong. It was especially a favorite on stroller walks (link it to the stroller with plastic links) and on car rides. My 3 year old only occasionally plays with it now, but he still enjoys the songs when he does. A great toy for toddlers who like music and babies that can sit up and hold toys (the buttons are large enough to be pretty easy to push).

Customer Review: Cute Toy
Summary: 4 Stars

My 1 year old loves this toy. She has figured out how to scroll through the songs and she even plays along with them. My only complaint is that even though it plays lots of songs, you have to move a button at the top to switch between modes. It has 3 modes- learning, singing, and games. Each mode has 3-4 songs. I wish it just played all the songs on one mode. My little girl can't switch the button over, so she gets bored with the 3 songs quickly.
