I gave this toy 1 for education value, because it's a headset. I bought this one and the blue one. for my son and step-daughter. Well if your child has a big head like my step daughter it may not be the best. But it is perfect for kids b/w the ages of 1-5. Perfect fit. My step-daughter is 8 so it doesn't really benefit her, so my one year old daughter took ownership, but the product is good. I tried the headphones and the volume is perfect, it doesn't sound like the audio is screaming in your ear, so you don't have to worry about the volume being to high even when the volume is maxed. It's wonderful.
I love it, i would recommend it to any parent.

I bought these headphones for my 2 1/2 year old to use with our portable DVD player on a plane. I contemplated other headphone options, but figured the durability of Fisher Price products along with this saying they are for 3 year olds made this a better option for us.
Unfortunately the volume on these headphones is so low my daughter could barely hear anything on the plane. I had the DVD player volume all the way up. I know it wasn't my DVD player because I tried my ear buds, and they worked fine.
You're better off buying "real" headphones for a young child instead.

MY 5 YEAR OLD LOVES THESE BUT NEITHER HER NOR I CAN HEAR VERY WELL OUT OF THEM. THE SMALLER EAR BUDS I HAD BOUGHT FOR HER DIDNT FIT HER EAR CANAL SO THESE WERE PERFECT FOR HER AND THEY WERE DECENTLY PRICED ,THEN WE USED THEM ON A ROAD TRIP AND IT SEEMED AS THOUGH SOUND WAS LOW SO I TURNED UP THE VOLUME ON THE MEDIA AND DIDNT RESOLVE THE SITUATION. THE SOUND SAFETY DEVICE IT CONTAINS IS NOT ADJUSTABLE, THEREFORE IT SERVES NO PURPOSE TO US IF WE CANNOT HEAR OUT OF THEM. I WONDER IF I ELIMINATE THIS FEATURE IF THEY WOULD WORK AS A STANDARD PAIR OF HEADPHONES.Customer Review: Kids don't sit still

Overall, these headphones look pretty good and are durable. The issue is that #1 the cord is WAY too short if you are planning to use these in the car, #2 the noise adjuster box is too close to the child's face which causes an issue to me because it makes the cord heavy and pulls them off the child's face...impossible to see this from the pictures... #3 the ear phone part is too flat, from the picture I thought they would actually cup around the ears to help them stay in place but they don't provide any support at all and just slip right off.Customer Review: Fisher Price headphones

I bought this for my daughter (3 yr old) during our 12 hour road trip. They fit her head perfectly!
The only thing I wish I could change is the volume minimizer. I want to determine what is considered too loud. The headphones automatically cut the sound in half which would be great if my daughter didnt have a hearing problem. It had to be completely silent in the car for her to hear the music through the headphones.
I would recommend this to my friends and family. It's been dropped and stepped on and still works.
