Toys and Games Reviews of Fisher Price Kid Tough Digital Camera - PinkCustomer Review: Decent Little Camera Summary: 4 Stars
My girls have been chomping at the bit to get a hand on my camera, but wanted to get them one I wasn't on edge whenever they had it in their hand, waiting for them to drop it. They love the camera, have dropped it (a couple times) and it still works. No, it's not going to give you pictures that are 8x10 quality, but that's not the point. The pictures ARE decent quality and if you want JUST quality, go buy a "real" camera for your kids and then don't freak out WHEN they drop it and your investment is gone. I think this is a GREAT first camera for young ones as it makes taking pictures fun, allows parents to relax and enjoy the excitment in their kids face as they can be "grown up" with their own camera.
Customer Review: Don't buy this camera! Summary: 1 Stars
This camera is truly a worthless piece of garbage. I agree with all the other reviewers who say that durability is meaningless when the photos this camera produces are as foggy as pea soup. Seriously, you can not make out a thing once you've snapped a pic. I bought this camera for my child over two years ago and am STUNNED that this product is still on the market. You might as well take a kleenex box, cut a hole in it and paint it pink. You'd end up keeping the same number of photos: NONE (since you can't make out a thing on the Kid Tough one) and it would be a whole lot cheaper. Take it from me -- you'll have buyer's remorse if you shell out for this complete waste of money.
Customer Review: Hours of fun for a toddler Summary: 5 Stars
My 2.5 year old daughter just received this is a Christmas gift. She LOVES it. She immediately knew how to use it and was snapping pictures left and right. We've even uploaded her photograph art to our Web site so the family can see the amusing photos she has taken. No, the picture quality isn't the highest but the ease of use for toddler fingers makes up for it. I would suggest this camera for the 2-4 age group. A child older than 4 can operate and probably not completely destroy, an inexpensive regular camera. But for a 2 year old, the minimal buttons, chunky hand grips, large viewfinder and easy to hit picture taking button are worth the price.
Customer Review: Great camera for first time photographers! Summary: 5 Stars
After seeing my neighbor's, I had to get it. It is great for those first timers and it lets me have a break from them using (and smudging, loading up my memory card, etc) mine! Honestly, it does not take the greatest pictures, and sometimes in certain light, it really doesn't take well. But they have not been disapointed and you have to remember, it's a kid's camera, not a top of the line one. You can stil make out what pictures are what. My youngest who is 3, can use this camera with no problems, knows how to delete, look at all of her pictures, and turn it off.
It is very sturdy, love the rubber sides so it doesn't slip.
Customer Review: My daughter really likes it. Summary: 4 Stars
We got this toy for our daughter's 6th birthday. She is always getting her hands on my digital camera so we figured this would be a good substitute. She was very excited when she opened it and began taking pictures right away. It was very simple to operate and she figured out how to review pics and delete pics right away. the quality of the pictures is not great, however she didn't seem to mind one bit. She took pictures all day with her very own camera. If you're looking for high quality pics to download, share, etc...this would not work. If you just want something that is fun, durable and easy to use, I recommend this camera.
