Toys and Games Reviews of Fisher-Price Kid-Tough Digital Camera Pink [Amazon Frustration-Free Packaging]Customer Review: Would be great if... Summary: 3 Stars
Would be great if the quality of pictures were better. We gave this camera to my 3-year-old for Christmas. She loves the camera. It is easy for her to use, and the buttons are easy to understand. The double-eye view finder is nice and the on-screen view is nice, but the pictures are just not the best quality. Most of them are too dark or overexposed. As much as she loves the camera, I am still not sure if we will keep it or return it for one that is cheaper, and takes better quality pictures (not a kids camera). Fisher-Price didn't put much effort into this camera. It's sad.
Customer Review: Battery zapper Summary: 1 Stars
We recieved this as a gift for Christmas from grandma & grandpa. My 4 year old loved the idea of the Camera. In fact she tells everyone it's her favorite gift, however it does not work for long. Meaning it zaps the 4 AAA batteries that are incerted after 20 mins of play. We even used rechargable and it still sucked thme dry in 15 minutes. It was bought for cheep on Amazon... but we will make of for the price in battery re-placement costs. I think we're going to try to return it and possibly buy the V-tech kid camera or the little tyke one. Thoses recieved better reviews.
Customer Review: Tough for a 3-year old Summary: 3 Stars
My 3-year old loves the idea of taking pictures, but is frustrated by the hard-to-push shutter button, so quickly loses interest, preferring instead to manipulate the buttons in the back. I wish the power button was as hard to press as the shutter. We'd find it a much more enjoyable experience.
Picture quality is what you'd expect from a camera suitable for the pre-k set, and it is very tough. If something happened to it, I would do a lot more real-world testing before buying a different model or brand. Would not purchase this camera again.
Customer Review: Great toy - NO BOX! Summary: 4 Stars
The toy seems to be a great toy - but this "frustration free packaging" actually means there is NO BOX! The camera and instructions just came in an Amazon box. I'm just glad the gift was for a child because I would have been thoroughly embarrased to give it to an adult with no box - looking like I bought it at some bargain warehouse! Frustration Free packaging is a "nice" way to word it to avoid having to say that they for some reason have no boxes for this product. I will not fall for that again - especially if the product I'm buying is a gift.
Customer Review: Great Camera For Any Child Summary: 4 Stars
I read other reviews and everyone was negative about this item well lets get to the point this camera is not a cannon rebel its a kids camera so yes its not going to make high class photos. It's for a child do you really expext it too? My daughter loves it even if it takes the occasional bad photo. I would suggest rechargeable batteries though. And I saw a review about a four year old who could not press the buttons well take the box and look at it 5 and up genious!! Over all this is perfect for children and they love it it's fun for them.
