Customer Review: Great Gift and Great First Digital Camera
Summary: 4 Stars

My 3 and a half years-old son got this camera as a Christmas gift and he has enjoyed every moment he has spent with it. It's just the right size for his little hands and the two eyes viewing area is perfect for getting the framing of the picture right in the middle. Also the camera seems very durable, it's materials are firm yet rubbery and clean up very nice. We found just two dissadvantages: first of all it should have a wrist strap to ensure lesser drops, and also it should include an internal rechargeable battery, as changing the batteries every 30 to 40 pictures becomes a bit of a hassle. That aside, it's a great first digital camera for any kid who enjoys taking pictures, and the quality of the images aren't bad at all.

Customer Review: My kids love it, I'd like to see the resolution better
Summary: 3 Stars

Overall, I gave this camera only 3 stars, but my kids will tell you it deserves 5 starts.

There are a few of things that I would love to see Fisher-Price to change. First, they have to have a better resolution on it. I'm so used to 8MP to 10MP cameras (the size of match boxes, at that) that seeing the 1.5MP (maybe less?) a bit of a disappointment. Zoom would have been a nice feature too. An auto-timer would have been nice to see too.

But it's hard to complain when the kids fight over it, they simply love it. They have a ton of laughs and fun just taking pictures of everything. It's simple to use. As a parent, I love how tough it is, I don't have to worry when the kids drop them.

Customer Review: Tough stuff
Summary: 4 Stars

Durable camera that feels solid and indestructable. Easy buttons and cool two eye viewfinder. The LCD is terrible on the back and the picture quality leaves something to be desired. I bought this camera for my nephew (4 years old)who was in the habit of using my point and shoot digital camera to take some pretty great pictures. I thought about just buying him a point and shoot of his own but liked the idea of the waterproof and tumble-proof shell on this camera. If you are just looking to introduce your little one to a camera for the first time this is perfect, but if you are thinking about getting this for a little one already prolific with the camera the picture quality and LCD are huge drawbacks.

Customer Review: Every kid need one!
Summary: 5 Stars

My 2 1/2 year old son loves to pretend to take pictures and this gives him that opportunity - the quality of the pictures isn't great, but it beats developing rolls of film like when I was a kid... He gets to see the pictures on the screen when he takes them and he has dropped the camera down the stair (from the top) 3 times, stepped on it a dozens and dozens of times and ran over it on his big wheel 3 or 4 times and it still works perfectly - plus he has taken over 300 pictures and the memory still wasn't full... it is a bit different from the traditional camera - you must look through it like glasses (there is both left and right eye piece and you need to use it) to get the photo centered - [...]

Customer Review: Indestructible
Summary: 5 Stars

On our recent trip to Disney World, while we were waiting for the shuttle boat to the Magic Kingdom, my 4-year dropped his camera on the dock and it bounced into the lake. He was upset but we could really do nothing as we watched this camera float under the dock and disappear. 7 hours later we returned from the park, I spotted it floating about 100 yards down the shoreline. I convinced an employee to use a rental boat to fish it out of the water...I dried it, and tried it an hour later, it worked perfectly!!

The camera takes reasonable pictures for a 4 year old, and he has a great time taking pictures with it. For the price I think you get a very solid product that delivers!
