My son adores this ship and plays with it every single day in the 6 weeks since Christmas. No pieces have broken and all the moving parts work just fine, after much abuse from an active 3-year-old.
He may love the ship, but I LOVED the packaging. What a great idea! Less waste, easier to unpack, ready to play with about 30 seconds after he unwrapped it. Everything arrived just fine with nothing lost or damaged. Thanks for creating this simplified packaging and please offer it on more items!

We got this toy and the spaceship toy for my son for Christmas. It is an awesome toy! It is fun, it is durable, it has little cannons that fire, it has a roll-out plank to walk, it has pirates, it has real sails. You probably shouldn't put it in the tub (some screws and stuff), but you can still put it near the tub and walk the plank. It has wheels on the bottom and can run along the floor. Makes me wish *I* was 4, and often makes me feel like I am. Highly recommended! Shiver me timbers!Customer Review: My son loves this ship!

My 4 year old got this for his birthday. He hasn't been one to play with toys much. He prefers video games, so to keep those kind of things to a minimum, I am looking for toys to keep his interest. He has played with this nearly every day for a month, and still seems excited about it. He likes the cannons that really shoot, the sails that open and close and the figures. His older siblings enjoy playing with him too.
It encourages open ended play and imagination which is great!

The ship has enough features to keep my almost-4-year old interested. It is very sturdy - he has tested that to the max! Although it is not a bath toy and sinks in water - it has stood up well to numerous bath time sails, and is easy to drain. The shields and cannonballs (actually lollypop shaped pieces) are easy to lose, but the ship itself keeps him entertained for long periods of time. It is his favorite toy this year, even ousting his trains. Now that is some feat!Customer Review: hours of fun ...

we first bought the imaginext castle christmas 06 and my then 3 yr old couldn't get enough. So when he saw the pirate ship just before christmas 07 he couldn't talk about anything else ...
Since then he had hours of fun with it. All the neat features, but I must say the sails get stuck quite often and we crushed two of the red canon targets by just stepping on them.
Still, we would buy it again anytime!
