BEST GIFT my son received this past Christmas. He absolutely loves this and insists on sleeping with it at the end of his bed every night. There are some small pieces but not that bad. The imagination that is evoked when he plays with this is just fantastic! (He's 3 years old) One problem is the draw bridge won't close sometimes, gets stripped out. But my husband has been able to fix this every time by tightening or loosening the screws for it. Everything else works great.Customer Review: Best Toy for 3 and 4 year old boy

My sons got this for Christmas and barely have played anything else. I bought EVERY add on set. Forst of all, this does not fall apart. They can play with it two ways open and closed. It is like a puzzle in that the feet of the people go into grooves and when you turn the people, things happen like stairs moving out. It does a lot of things that little boys can control and teaches cause and effect. Best toy I have seen in a while and better than Playmobil for smaller ones.Customer Review: Great fun, very durable

This castle is great fun, and very durable. Both our boys (ages 4 years and 18 mos.) love playing with it. There are lots of action parts on the castle (working drawbridge, spinning wall, trap door, etc.), and they are designed with the right balance of ease of use and durability.
It's definitely one of our kids' top 5 favorite toys, and we can occasionally add accessories (the royal ship, the dragon, etc.) that keep adding to the fun and keep their interest high.

What great fun our little one has had with this playset, I love to watch his mind work as he plays with this toy! We got the set with the extra figures and my son loves them! This toy is built to last, it is sturdy and closes to a very reasonable size for storage and portability. The toy needs a latch to keep it closed when we take it to grandmas but other than that we LOVE this toy! My 3-year-old got this castle as a birthday present and he loves it, other toys he might play with when he gets them and then they sit in a corner and never get played with, but this castle he has played with since he got it and he plays for hours making up little stories with the people. It gets even better since you can close up the castle it is so easy to bring places with you, we brought it on vacation and it was great. i would recommend this to everyone. Great toy.
