Toys and Games Reviews of Fisher-Price Imaginext Adventures Castle

Customer Review: Promotes fun creativity and Imagination
Summary: 4 Stars

Pros:
-My kids love these. It really encourage their creativity. Their other sets include castles, knights, giants, dragons, wizards, pirates, etc. -Interactive - with cannons and bows/arrows that shoot projectiles, trap doors, audio and visual effects.
-Durable
-A great alternative to Legos.

Cons:
-Price had gone up so much
-This is for older kids. A 4-year old will have a real hard time to snap them together and may feel frustrated.
-One set is not enough. You may really need to expand to do more.

Customer Review: Love it!
Summary: 5 Stars

My son kept seeing this castle in the stores and loved it in the box. He loved it even more when we got it home. There are secret doorways and the action figures are pretty cool also. The only glitch was that the one we received had a problem with the draw bridge. Ours wouldn't stay open. All it took was a screwdriver and a little tweeking. The spring was too tight and the cogs kept making the bridge go back up. Not a hard fix. Anyway, we're hoping this is going to be part of a series of "buildings". The imaginext dinos are great too!

Customer Review: Over $100? Are they kidding?
Summary: 4 Stars

This is a great toy. My kids got this when they were 2 and 4 and have been playing with it ever since (they are now 4 and 5). My daughter uses it for her princesses, and my son plays with the knights and horses. I recently looked it up because a friend's son played with it at our house and wants one of his own. I saw that Amazon's price was $119.95 and hope that this is a typographical error. The toy can be found on other sites for about $20. It is well worth $20 but not even close to being worth $120...

Customer Review: Awesome Castle
Summary: 5 Stars

I purchased Imaginext Castle, Skull Island and Pirate Ship for my 6 yr old for Christmas. The ages on it are 2-5 so I was concerned it was too baby-like. He absolutely loves it and hasn't stopped playing with it since Christmas. Is has many drops and openings and lots of stuff to manipulate for hours of play. Since it's in a 2-5 year old catagory, it's more durable then the Playmobil Castle (and easier to assemble.)
Two thumbs up! I would recommend this toy for any boy 2-7. (or girl!)

Customer Review: So much fun even after a year.
Summary: 5 Stars

I'm really impressed with the whole imaginext line. We bought the castle when my son was 4, and he's still loving it a year later. It's one of the few toys that continues to capture his attention. You can add on pieces to enhance the fun. Our drawbridge will no longer stay closed. I'm not exactly sure why, but it doesn't really take away from the fun. (There are screws under the drawbridge area, so we might take it apart and see if we can fix it.) Overall, I give this 5 stars.
