Toys and Games Reviews of Fisher-Price Imaginext Adventures Castle

Customer Review: Favorite toy we've got
Summary: 5 Stars

My five year old got this for his 3rd birthday and he still uses it, his friends love it, his now 3 year old brother loves it. They really use their imaginations and have a great time (we've got castle accessories and other odd creatures like happy meals toys, etc.) The drawbridge broke when one of the kids pushed it too hard to stop another child from opening it but we unscrewed the part and fixed it and it works fine until kids fight over it and then we have to fix it again--pretty easy fix. Overall, this has been one of our most used toys. We're getting the Batman cave playset for them this Christmas because they had so many hours of fun with this.

Customer Review: Dramatic
Summary: 5 Stars

My four year old wanted this from Santa above all else! He has not been disappointed. He has it on the dining room table (there are lots of small parts that his brother could choke on.) The plastic is strong and the characters are all included. He loves the 'secret' rooms and folding up the castle to make it look 'real.' This is the first toy he has sat and played with by himself for an extended period of time. I love listening to him chatter to himself while playing with it! I remember the castle I had when I was his age and I expected this one to come up short in comparison. It has not and I would strongly suggest this for an imaginative child.

Customer Review: Best gift ever!
Summary: 5 Stars

I have a 6 year old son. He has a great imagination and loves to pretend. He is all boy and plays rough most of the time with his toys. This castle is very durable and easy to carry around. All the little men and horses that come with it fit right inside so you don`t lose them. I also got him the Pirate ship from Fisher Price and he loves that too. The best thing about this castle is it kid tough and very fun to play with. The castle and the pieces are just the right size for little hands. He plays for hours and hours with this toy building his imagination. I would recommend this toy and the other Imaginext toys to everyone. It is money well spent!!!

Customer Review: My kids love this!
Summary: 4 Stars

My four year-old begged me for this toy forever after seeing one at a friends house. I was afraid that it would be too "babyish" to keep him and my five year-old interested, but they absolutely love it. They play with it every day and it is durable enough that their two year-old brother can play too. They are now fascinated with everything related to knights and castles. I wish that the moving parts worked without having to put a knight in each special spot, and the drawbridge makes an unpleasant sound when lowered, but none of that bothers my boys at all. They even like to close it up and put it away when they are done, which is a bonus!

Customer Review: The best playset for 3-4 year olds EVER.
Summary: 5 Stars

Someone finally got it right. Durable figures with moveable arms and legs... the right size to be easily manipulated by little hands... don't need to be a rocket scientist to get them to stand on their own... lots of things to do that enhance imagination rather that replace it... accessories available (though not necessary)... the armor, shields, and weapons actually stay where you put them... enough pieces to keep your kid active but not so many he is overwhelmed... there is absolutely NOTHING wrong with this set. BTW- the dinosaur one is good, too, but not nearly as sturdy. Save that one for the 5-6 year range maybe.
