This doll was a big hit with my 3 year old grandaughter. She got it in October for her birthday, and when I visited in December, It still was in good shape and just as popular. I should add that this doll is in a lively houshold, including a four year old brother who will bash and bang things at random. Ok, my 3 year old HAD to have this doll. Myself, and my 11 year old, well, we think she is scary looking, BUT! She wanted her, and she got her and she LOVES her! At the price of [...]. it more than doubly beat even Walmarts 25 bucks! Amazon prices ROCK! I love the price, couldnt find her anywhere even twice this amount. She does what it says, of course, but her hard face and blinking mechanical eyes, kinda creep me out, but seems the baby girl just adores her! 4 Stars for price, quality, and doing what it says! Okay, opened today after my 4 year old got a glimpse of the doll hiding in our closet. It was supposed to be for her birthday but oh no now I have to be on amazon all night looking for another gift!
I don't know about features or durability but I LOVE HER SMILE! I bought my daughter the Amazing Amanda doll for Christmas and they could have learned a lot from DORA! And Dora cost me $60.00 less! Everytime I see this doll smile it just makes me smile too. My daughter just keeps making more and more WISHES!! I swear that pony is going to cost me a pretty penny some day. :)
I thought her dress was pretty cheap though, they could have used a nicer material. Her face is the soft rubber just like the Amanda doll but Dora feels so much more real. I wish she stood on her own like the rest of the Dora's have. She doesn't sit well either. So cute!

My daughter wanted this for chirstmas. She likes it. I only paid $9.99 for it. It was worth that price but I don't think it is worth any more than that. I rarely pay full price for anything though. The doll is a fun one to play with. It just doesn't do a whole lot to hold the attention of the kids.
