We purchased this toy last christmas 2006 for our son who was 3 1/2 years old at the time, And he was very excited, 1 year later he still loves it and plays with it alot, he has added maney of the Diego pieces that are sold separately. We are satisfied with the quality of the item, and it is very easy to assemble and dissassemble, My son doe's it all by himself. All and All the Rescue Center is a very sturdy toy.Customer Review: So-so design but a favorite none the less

As other reviewers have already stated, the construction of this rescue center is not great. The legs fall out easily, the zip cord is disappointing and my kids can't move the elevator at all. That being said, my two year old and four year old love to play with it and create Diego adventures with the figures. So even though it isn't the best designed toy, it offers imaginative play and the kids love it.Customer Review: Great fun for $20 but no more!

My 2-year old son loves this toy but I am glad that I did not pay more than [...] for it. I guess we were fortunate to receive parts that fit together well when my husband put it together but we have problems with the elevator which does not slide up and down freely. The whirling helicopter is fun. We also received a different version of Diego's harness which fits around his waist.

The kids really get into playing with this toy however it is a pain. The folding flap keeps snapping off and the zipcord does not stay in place. The set comes apart completely by just lifting it up off the ground. It's not very well constructed for the amount of money we paid for it. Unless you don't mind putting toys together repeatedly I wouldn't recommend this toy especially for $40.Customer Review: Great fun!

My three year old son loves Diego. This Rescue House is not made with the greatest stability but with months of heavy use, nothing has broken. He loves playing with this toy and creating rescue missions with Diego and the animals. He uses it with his other Diegos and animals as well. I think the Rescue House is fun and sparks imagination, while strengthening a love for animals.
