My 8 month old grandson drags these rings around with him everywhere. It's one of his favorite toys. He's starting to stack the rings, but even when he was just a couple months old he loved playing with the rings. It's a great toy, safe, colorful, durable.
UPDATE: Now at 10 months old he still drags these ring with him every where. He knocks them together, rolls them along the floor. If I put them away in the toy box, he goes and gets them out. It's one of this 2 or 3 top toys.

We ordered this for our daughter, who is now 8 months old. She didn't have much use for it for the first little while, other than chewing and drooling on the rings.
Now that she can sit for long periods of time and concentrate on one task, she has learned to take the rings off one at a time. We are working on getting them back on!
This product has been made for years and years (my parents said I had one and so did my husband's parents) and there's definitely a reason!

I just got this for my one-year-old son last week. So far, he loves it. It entertains him longer and in more creative ways than those annoying, music-playing, light-blinking toys that we all "love". He especially loves the top piece that rattles, he loves taking the rings off (and is just starting to get the idea of putting them back on), he loves taping the rings together, and they have turned into hats, phones, and loads in his dump truck. My son loves this toy, he's 7mo and enjoys banging the rings together and chewing on them. Once I noticed his lips seemed blue and it was from the blue ring. I thought it was a fluke until it happened a second time and the blue color rubbed off on the base. I was concerned as I don't know what they color the plastic with and so I took it away. These toys have been around forever and I don't remember this being a problem. I'm not sure if anyone else has had the same issues.Customer Review: this toy is excellent to introduce promblem solving skills.

My eight month old son loves to take the rings and bang them together. He sends hours enjoying the colors and figuring different ways to make noise with the rings. This toy is educational and tyical. It expands the childs memory, therefore helps the devolpment process along. I remember having this toy when I was a child, this is a major must have for every child. It is simple but fun,It is also small so it's good for traveling, and very ,very durable.
