Toys and Games Reviews of Fisher-Price Brilliant Basics Rock-a-StackCustomer Review: It'a a baby magnet. Summary: 5 Stars
This is my 9 month old son's favorite toy. So, last night I put it down on the floor when my "parents group" came over (a group of six 8-12 month olds and their parents) and the little ones, who were in random motion around the room, suddenly gravitated towards it. Within seconds most of them had a ring (or two) in their hands which they were chewing, banging, or just carrying around. And of course there was one child gnawing on the base! The toy was in active use the rest of the night. If you have a baby, you're crazy not have this toy!
Customer Review: Fantastic simple durable toy! Summary: 5 Stars
Our 8 months son absolutely loves this toy. Whenever we put loud musical toys in front of him and this pyramid he always reaches for the pyramid. He loves disassembling the rings, but can't yet put them back. The plastic is also somewhat rubbery so he enjoys nibbling on the rings. The whole toy is also very easy to wash, though the rings have tiny holes in them and water does get in. The top ring has a paper insert with sparkles on them and it got wet a couple of times.
Overall we love this toy and recommend it to everyone.
Customer Review: Must-have Classic Summary: 5 Stars
I purchased this from BabyCenter.com for only $3.99, but unfortunately they no longer are a shop site (info and communities only now). What a great classic toy! My 6 month old son loves it. Since the stacker rocks, baby can easily spill all the rings at once if he doesn't feel patient enough to remove them one at at time. Durability plus- he chews 'em, throws 'em, bangs 'em together and generally slobbers all over the entire set. We just toss them in the soapy water each night with the breast pump bottles- very easy to clean. Highly recommended.
Customer Review: Classic Toy Summary: 5 Stars
This is a classic toy that will be in use for months, if not years, for less than $10. How can you go wrong?
My daughter still plays with this, and she's 2 and a half now. We got it for her when she was about 6 months old -- she loved the colorful rings, especially the rattle one. As she got older, she would practice putting the rings over the pole; she didn't care if they went on in the right order or not, she just enjoyed stacking them! Now, she tried to put them on in order, dumps them off, and does it all over again.
Customer Review: fun never stops Summary: 5 Stars
who could have thought that a simple stack can keep baby so happily occupied. No matter how many times i put the stack together, she will rush to take the rings off. Great for developing motoric skills. My baby takes one ring in each hand and tries to bang them together or shake them above her head. The variations are endless, especially when there is a nice music to dance with. The toy is light, durable (rings are being thrown right and left) and easy to clean. Cant wait for her to actually put the stack together....
