Toys and Games Reviews of Fisher-Price Brilliant Basics Little Super Star Classical StackerCustomer Review: Great first toy!!! Summary: 5 Stars
Both my son and daughter had one of the original ones and they started to play with it around 6 months. They both loved it and had a wonderful time with it. I do agree though there isn't much to it and it could be very boring for a 1 year old, but as a first toy it was great. Once they figured out how to stack it they would stack and unstack all the time. What was great is that they had no frustration because it didn't matter how you stacked it, it always went together. I'm on my third and it will be on my wish list for this baby as well.
Customer Review: Encouraged my daughter to crawl Summary: 5 Stars
I had the original Classical Stacker. It had a round cap on the top rather than a star - although there was a face on it and a star outline and it was still yellow. My daughter was so enthralled by that little yellow top. That is how she actually started to crawl at 3 1/2 - 4 months. She wanted that top so badly and I would put it just out of her reach and she started pulling herself toward it and that began her journey of being mobile. I am about to deliver my second child and I am so excited to get the new stacker for her also.
Customer Review: Brings a smile every time! Summary: 5 Stars
Our 5-month-old loves this toy!!! He can just look at it and he gets so excited. He'll start waving his arms and lunging toward it until it's in his hands - and in his mouth!
It's been a great toy for encouraging him to roll over. I put it just out of his reach and he wants it so badly that he's willing to put forth the effort to roll over to it.
He also loves watching us dump all the stars out and putting them back on one at a time as we say each color aloud.
I definitely recommend this toy.
Customer Review: It's on Top Summary: 4 Stars
We bought this toy for our son's first Christmas, he was 8 months old at the time. He wasn't sure about it at first, but after about a week or so he started to get into the stacker when I would push the button and the lights and music would start...he loved watching them. He is now almost one year and still has no interest in stacking the stars but instead finds it thrilling and fun to chase the top star (the big topper yellow star) all aroudn the house for hours...he would much rather do that instead of sit and stack them!
Customer Review: The best stacking toy ever! Summary: 5 Stars
This is a favorite of my daughters. She is 19 months and has loved it since we got it for her at 9months. The lights and sounds are awesome! We like to have a light show in the dark in her room when we push the top button. The only problem I would say is, if any of the pieces end up submerged in water, you'll never get it out. My pink star sticks on mine too. Its hard to get on and off. I need to help her with that one each time. This is a great updated version of the classic plastic ring stacker.
