This toy is easy to assemble, battery free, and loved by my 15 month old and her 2 year old cousin. Our baby loves the stacking rings, but is especially happy about the slot feature. The slot is also a favorite of the 2 year old. My child has never gotten her fingers stuck in the slot, as mentioned in a previous review, but I can see how it could happen.
On a side note, we bought this table to encourage our baby to stand and play in the hopes that standing play would encourage walking. It seems to have worked.

My son absolutely loved this toy from 7 month and still playing with it at 18 month. This toy does not make annoying sounds and does not require batteries which any parent can appreciate. It is very stable and durable. It has all activities I like for education: shape and pyramid sorter, moving parts to perfect fine motor skills. Kids that come to our house to play with my son also played with it all the time. I would recommend it to a friend.Customer Review: Don't BuyThis Item

I bought this table for my 13 month old. The rings in the center that you push down into the slot are dangerous. When the child has to push down on the ring there is to much resistance and there fingers get hurt because there little hands go around the ring and go down into the slot with it. I called fisher price to inform them of the danger but I see its still on the market. Don't buy.Customer Review: cute

My son is a year old and pushes it around the house when he plays with it alone. However, when his older sister (4 years old) plays with him, he works to imitate stacking the items and loves the little 'dinging' sounds made when sliding the loops through the slot. He's getting the hang of it. Great toy for motor skills.Customer Review: Great toy

My aunt gave this table to us after my son was born and he just now got to the age that he can play with it. He has started pulling himself up and wanting to stand and loves to be able to stand at the table and play with all the different things on it! It is such a great thing for babies learning to stand and cruise!
