Customer Review: Awesome battery free/non electronic "edutainment"!
Summary: 5 Stars

My parents bought this last Christmas for my baby when he way [...]. It has been a great toy. Very few items these days are battery free, which is nice for the parents. It's also great to have non electronic stimulation for the baby, which is hard to come by these days.

This table has been entertaining and educational for my baby for the last year. It is very durable and my baby has never gotten hurt with it.

It is a great toy for developmental stages. When he was very little, he liked to throw the rings and the snap together pieces. As he grew, he learned how to use the shape sorter and the ring slot. Then he practiced stacking the rings by size. Now that he is 20 months old he is losing interest in the table, although he still likes trying to snap the plastic pieces together.

All in all, this is a great table that baby can use to entertain himself, practice standing, etc, and learn various developments from age 6 months to 20 months (2 years may be pushing it).

Customer Review: Good toy for cruising baby
Summary: 4 Stars

I ordered this toy & received it 2 days later! Table is VERY EASY to put together. My 9 1/2 month old daughter LOVES this table. She is beginning to cruise & trying to walk & this table is small in height for her to grasp onto..I also like the fact that the legs are a bit wider so it gives the table more support/sturdiness. My daughter played with another similar play table that belongs to her 2 yr old cousin by Playskool & this one is so much better! The other table's legs are more narrow & whenever she leans a bit on it the table would move (even on carpet). This Big Discoveries Table does move a bit if the child puts all their weight on it but just keep an eye out for the baby. My daughter plays with the beads & rings that come with it. She doesn't know how to place the shape or stack the rings yet but maybe in a couple of months. Overall, I think this is a good toy if you want to help your baby learn to stand & be more comfortable walking/crusing a bit.

Customer Review: Center pole problems
Summary: 3 Stars

My baby, who is 7 months old, loves the table, and although she doesn't quite understand pushing the rings in the hole she loves playing with everything on there.

Unfortunately, two days ago (about a week after we received the product) she realized if she takes all of the rings off, she can pull the center pole out and chew on it. She does this the moment we put the toy back together, and it is the first thing she does when she goes to the table if we repair it while she's doing something else.

Since the reason we got the table was to give her something she could pull up on and cruise around, it still serves its purpose and is a good price for the value. I just wish there was some way to make the pole stay on (other than glue it, which I may have to do eventually).

Customer Review: Ten-month-old loves this table, and no batteries required!
Summary: 5 Stars

My very active ten-month-old son really enjoys this table! He loves to bang the rattling rings and chew on the snap-lock beads. He has just discovered the slot to push the rings down into, and so far, he has not hurt his hand in this slot as the other reviewer mentioned. My son loves pushing the rings down into the slot, only to find that, Presto! they come out down at the bottom! This table is very stable, and it does not fall over when my son pulls up on it. It has just the right amount of activities for him. I like it so much better than the electronic one my first son had when he was a baby!

Customer Review: Favorite Toy for Baby who likes to Stand
Summary: 5 Stars

We bought this for son when he was 8 months old, because he is crawling and loves to pull himself up to a standing position. He was constantly pulling himself up beside our coffee table and then pushing everything off the table. Now he has his OWN table to pull up on and toss things off of, LOL. It's been about 6 weeks now and this is still his favorite toy. At first he would just pull the rings off and throw them on the floor. Now he will hand them to me or shake them (they each make a rattling sound). He also likes the little beads and the green "clicker" wheel. He plays with this table every day.
