Customer Review: Disapointing Work
Summary: 1 Stars

I saw a review on here that said the balls only popped out ONE hole. Well I thought I'd take the chance and buy it for my daughter for Christmas. It was a little work to put together but not much. Took me maybe half an hour or less. I didn't find it hard once I knew how to put it together. However, once putting it together, I discovered mine as well only pops out one hole. Two popped out a different hole but only when my brother had tilted it when he went to move it. I think it's cute that the ball spins on top however, it doesn't fall through the holes in order to get to the track to roll down to the bottom. My daughter is almost 9 months old and never tipped it even the slightest bit.

However, I am highly disapointed in this product for mine doesn't do what it's supposed to, coming out the same hole is NOT interesting at all. So I'll sadly be returning it for a refund. Paid 35CA for it, not worth it at all. The other toy like this product, the saucer (not sure the name) is great though.

I hope whoever buys this doesn't have the same problem I did. I hope it works perfectly for your child as I wish it did for mine!

Customer Review: My son loves it!
Summary: 5 Stars

My son saw this toy at our neighbor's house. He loved it so much, I had to buy it for him. He's had it over a year, and it's still his 'everyday' toy.

In the beginning, we could adjust the volume with a little hidden switch. As my son got older, he figured out where that switch was and flipped it too loud. His father refuses to replace the batteries now, but my son still loves the toy even without music!

This toy teaches children all kinds of things -- balance, centrifugal force, rolling, music, falling (toys not kids), etc.

I really have little negative to say except that the toy is a little unsturdy. It's made of that cheaper plastic used these days, but it's not as bad as many toys on the market. The design itself is quite sturdy; it's just that plastic that gives a little too much.

Your children will learn that any small toy can fit in this. They will try to see if toys other than balls will roll or pass through the toy. Some do; most don't. So if you're missing a small toy, this is the first place to look. I consider it part of my son's learning process and actually enjoy seeing what he's put in there lately. A five star toy!

Customer Review: The whole family dances!
Summary: 4 Stars

My little girl recvd this for her first birthday and it was a lot of fun from the beginning. The music is really cool and while it's repetitive, it's a short lived techno beat and just enough get a few dance steps in before it cuts off. I have walked through the room many times and hit the button just to hear it myself. My daughter outgrew it rather fast since there's really only one feature to it: drop the balls in and down they go so while it is good for fine motor skills, it's not something that she would play with for a long period of time. This is the only reason that I wouldn't rate it 5 stars. I have a hard time giving this more than 3 stars in durability because the top never stays on like it should. I inevitably pick it up by the top and it slides right off and I struggle to get it back on. I would love to have extra balls because they roll away and you're rearranging the furniture to find them. It is in the process of being donated to our local YMCA and it's in great shape so it's definitely one that can be given away when they outgrow the targeted age group. I'd buy it again for a gift or recommend others to do so as well.

Customer Review: Not right for every kid
Summary: 4 Stars

I purchased this toy for my son when he was first starting to try to pull himself up on the furniture. It claims to have a sturdy base for pulling up, it does not. It tips over very easily, and is so lightweight that my son can drag it around the room and crash it into things. Once a baby that cannot stand unassisted puts a ball in it, they cannot lean back to watch the balls go around, and it's too tall for them to reach the top while seated. My son does like to drop the balls down the center, and then peer down the hole and try to see where they went. He also loves the music, and used to hold onto the top and bob up and down like his own little dance. I think that was his favorite part. He also got his arm stuck in the center hole, but that was his own fault (he grabed onto the opening in the center, and panicked and wouldn't let go of it. Now that he is older, we've had to take it away from him because he wants to climb on the spiral like a ladder, and the plastic is too flimsy for that. I'm afraid he will break it and hurt himself, so we've packed it away. Overall, he got about 2 months worth of play out of it before he lost interest.

Customer Review: A decent toy
Summary: 3 Stars

I got this for my baby's first birthday. I understand that for very young babies who are just learning to pull up it is not stable enough, but for a baby who is already a confident stander, stability does not seem to be a problem.

It's a fairly large toy (over a square foot at the base), so keep that in mind if you have limited space.

It only plays one song, but it's just the kind that babies like (fun and upbeat), and it periodically throws in cute sound effects (a child laughing, boing noises, etc.) Also, there is the option to turn the sound low or off completely (though the lights also don't work if the sound is off).

It seems like a fairly durable toy, but with a little roughhousing the ramps can snap out of place, and getting them back into place takes some effort.

Assembly of the toy was not particularly difficult, but it was fairly complicated (about a dozen pieces). It's not something you'd want to do when you're in a hurry or not feeling alert. It's very important to assemble it exactly as the directions specify or it won't work right.

Overall, it's not the best toy I've bought, but I don't regret getting it.
