My daughter loves this set, it has helped her learn her animal sounds! She loves it so much, we got her the entire set, all of the extras! The extras are fabulous! I love that they all make fun noises and come with habitats or an additional train car! The songs are fun and new, I loved learning them and singing along with it and getting my daughter to dance! One thing that made my little timid girl afraid was when the train moved on it's own so it was great that you could turn that function off, though now she's getting a bit older she loves that it moves around! We were excited to receive this toy as a gift, but the paint rubbed off in several blotches on the engine and the train would not move in "move-along" mode. Also, by the commercials it appeared to tell about whichever animal is in the front car- it does not. It just cycles through about 3 songs when you push down on the engine seat (which is too hard for a 6 mo. old to do). The smoke stack (the easiest for a baby to push down) only plays 1 song- so be prepared to learn it quickly and sing-along!
We'll be exchanging ours for another in hopes that it will be without the defects before giving up on it completely.

This whimsical toy "lives" on the floor of Annabelle Rose's bedroom, right near her crib and changing table, always in sight. She is one year old now, VERY GROWN UP! The sweet music, gentle movement, smiling animals and bright colors are so familiar to her that she chooses one animal to take a nap with each day. Annabelle Rose has taken such pleasure in the Fisher Price Amazing Animals Sing and Go Choo Choo, that I have purchased this reliable and ever-working toy for a baby shower and then another for Taryn Charlize, my other one year old granddaughter. A wonderful toy ... and a reasonable price for lasting quality.Customer Review: Entertaining

Fisher-Price Amazing Animals Sing & Go Choo-Choo
My granddaughter (10 mo) has as much fun pushing this choo choo as watching it run on it's own. She graps hold of the monkey's bar in back and pushes (it makes a nice handle). She experiments with moving all the animal parts in every which way. She also takes the train apart but hasn't started putting it back together yet. There are a lot of toys here, all the legs are moveable, as well as the elephant's trunk and ears. The monkey rattles. Music and lights too!

Bought this for my 11-mos old twin grandchildren. They both enjoy the train with it's music- they were totally astounded as to how the choo choo train moves on it's own accord and enjoy crawling after it (it also has a setting to stop its movement). They play with the various animals- with a marked preference for chewing on the giraffe... I do not know how much they're learning from the taped songs at this point, but my daughter laugs that it's a familiar voice as they have the same voice for other of their Fisher Price toys... My daughter says that after 3 weeks, its become one of their favorite toys.
