My foster daughter is 6 months old. She received this toy when she was 4.5 months old for Christmas. At first she would just look at the toy and chew on the animals, but that was before she could sit up. Now that she is sitting up, she loves this toy! She will sit and chew on the bars and make the music go off over and over.
I like that it is educational, and the music is catchy as well. It is not an overly annoying toy, and it has volume control.
My 6 year old niece and 4 year old foster son also love this toy, they were fighting over who got to play with it, so I am sure it will be used for a long time. It has two modes, one for when they are immobile and want to sit and play with it, and than when they get older you can switch it so the train moves when it sings.
I am very glad I purchased this toy, and I will be purchasing the extra carts and animals that go with it soon!

My son and his girlfriend bought this for our 7 month old grandson for Christmas and the extra cars and animals. plus he recieved a few more cars and animals from other friends and family memebers. This is an awesome gift. Our Nephew and his girlfriend and 3 year old daughter were visiting and she loved the train. she had no problems operating it and keeping it attached. Our grandson loved watching her operate it up and down the livingroom floor. (hardwood) the song does change with each different animal put into the "drivers" seat. the main song is very catchy and you will soon find yourself humming it. we have no complaints about this toy and find it well worth the price in entertainment and learning for the kids. I would recommend it to anyone. We haven't found any safety hazards with the toy at all and it has been well used in the last few days since Christmas.Customer Review: Great Toy Worth Every Penny!

This toy is one of those that will get played with ALOT and be worth the money you spent on it. Or will make a great gift! My son is 1 and we bought this for his birthday. We also bought the zebra that attaches to the end of the train. We dont buy alot of toys because they just dont get played with and we cannot waste our money but this is one toy we spurged on for him and he loves it. This is a toy that can be played with for many years and he will not outgrow quickly. Great toy! THANKS FISHER PRICE! quality, durable, safe (hopefully no recalls like alot of other companies have) I hope to get the other two attachements for christmas. (I think there are 3 in all)I bet we see these toys being passed around for the next 5 to 10 years. My daughter received this toy for Christmas when she just over 1yr old and loved chasing it around Christmas morning. She has continued to play with it over the last 2 years and loves it!!! She now likes to put her babies/barbies in it and pretend they are going on a trip. She has thrown it, hit it, stood in it and just about anything a kid can do to abuse a toy and it still looks brand new! Now my 6 month old son giggles his head off when she drives it past him back and forth, he also loves to hold the animals and tries to suck on them. This toy is well worth $30 and even the $40 we paid for it when it first came out! I am willing to bet this toy will be popular in my house for at least the next 3yrs as my son starts to enjoy it more and more! This toy is also very good on batteries, I don't think I have changed the batteries in it more 3-4 times.Customer Review: I love this train!!

We bought this train for our six month old daughter. It arrived way faster than I expected. For the price that I paid I didn't think it would be as big or as nice as it is. We have so much fun playing with this toy. It doesn't get put away. Every day when she is on the floor she always manages to get to the train. I turned off the moving wheels at the moment. She's not quite crawling and she got frustrated when it went away from her. She loves playing the different songs and hitting the whistle that makes animal sounds. She figured it out within a couple of days. I haven't seen a need to get the other cars for anything other than the fact that they're super cute!! We absolutely love this!! There is one con though. The songs get stuck in your head for days on end, since they're so catchy and fun to sing along with.
