Customer Review: Use dry erase markers!

My daughter has had the Doodle Pro Glow for two years. When I started searching for new markers, it was extremely frustrating. You can only buy them in packs with templates. Since the markers make a mess and the sponge was lost long ago, we now use "Foohy brand washable thinline dry erase markers." I got them at WalMart. They are bright colors and the glow works great. Plus, no water and they are washable off hands and clothing. Hope this helps some of you looking for new markers.Customer Review: Neat idea, a little messy!

I read the reviews before buying this product, and I do agree that it is messy with the markers, suitable for children that are a little older. It is fun, and very cute, but a little messy to wash off. I just buy a pack of baby wipes at the dollar store, and let the kids clean off the screen with them, and then throw them out. It works wonderfully, and the problem is solved, since the included sponge is not very helpful. I would purchase this again, especially for the price.Customer Review: Great Idea but Very MESSY!

This is the worst Doddle product I had purchased by far. It was a great idea but somebody at Fisher Price needs to go back to the drawing boards. The little sponge that comes with it is suppose to clean the board when wet. Ha ha. It just smears it all over the board and it gets all over your hands and everything else. Then you have to dry it to use it again. Yucky and Messy! Don't waist your money like I did. We even bought the extra pads.Customer Review: kids may enjoy...but it's a mother's nightmare!!

My daughter loves this toy.
I, on the other hand, cannot stand it.
I have actually tried to hide it from her.
It is a mess! The markers are not washable, the screen does not clean up easily and the sponge that comes with it is practically useless.
Plus, the tracing pages tear easily - they should be laminated.
If you are interested in a doodle pro product, I would stick with an original.

It helps toddlers practice drawing and writing letters so improves fine motor skills. The best part is that the pictures are interesting enough to keep even 6 to 8-year-olds engaged. The drawbacks are that the pictures are not durable. So to make them last, laminate them. Also, if they made the markers in more different colors and the pad itself a little more compact it would be perfect! Overall, very satisfactory.
