Toys and Games Reviews of Fisher-Price Tumble Time TiggerCustomer Review: Worst Toy Ever Summary: 1 Stars
I got this for my daughter for Christmas, thinking it was so cute on the commercial. I dont really mind the song, although I did wonder why MC Hammer's "U Can't Touch This" was the only appropriate song for Tumble Time Tigger. First of all, Tigger must have some kind of problem, because he cannot seem to tumble! He falls no matter what surface I put him on, and he tilts forward or to the front like some drunken animal. Absolutely zero fun, he cannot even do what he is suuposed to do! Waste of $30, dont even think about purchasing this dancing freak here.
Customer Review: Not worth the money Summary: 1 Stars
I bought this toy for my 1 year old for his birthday. We tried it on the carpet and on the tile and we cannot get it to continually tumble(falls down almost every time). It will not stay "tumbling" when we clap or make noise, as the product states it should. I have never been propelled to write a review on a product before, but this product is so terrible that parents need to know before possibly dissapointing their little ones. We have made the decision to take our "tumbling" Tigger back to the store within 10 minutes of taking it out of the box.
Customer Review: Great fun !! Summary: 4 Stars
This is a very impressive and fun toy. I bought it the first weekend it was available (full retail price), so 19.99 is a great bargain. I highly recommend this. Your baby will be delighted by Tigger's siliness. You do need to make sure the demonstration tag is removed. Otherwise, Tigger couldn't move or say much (perserve battery while still attached to the box). The reason I gave it only 4 stars is Tigger needed help getting up once it falls to its side. I assume this is to provoke our child to interact with Tigger and set him up straight.
Customer Review: Did you take out the DEMONSTRATION tag????? Summary: 5 Stars
My family thought Tigger wasn't terrific either until we removed the demonstration tag by the batteries! It was hidden, unlike most toys like this (chicken dance elmo, hokey pokey elmo) and once removed Tigger...a) is much more stable in his tumbling and falls very INfrequently, b) says and does SO many more things, including tumbling several times in a row and reversing directions. Well worth the purchase price for my 4 year old twins who are Tigger-crazy.
Do not forget this little hint...it makes all the difference!!!!
Customer Review: Unreliable toy Summary: 1 Stars
My dad bought two of these tiggers for my two little ones for their birthdays and they tiggers kept falling over no matter what surface of floor they were on. We ended up taking one of them back and we thought it was a manufactuer defect but it was the toy in general. The second tigger we bought did the same thing. Every now and then it would work but less often that it should. Very upsetting to the children. This toy is truly a waste of money. We love tigger but I would not purchase this one if you truly want to be satisfied!
