Customer Review: Amazing toy...if you get one that works...

I was one of the lucky ones who got it at Wal-Mart the day after Thanksgiving for $16.88. Wrapped it up and come to find out over the holidays that ours was a dud. He didn't work - period - no matter what we tried. I tried calling Fisher-Price as we had another FP toy that wasn't working either but only received a recorded message that they were having too many calls and the answering tree promptly hung up on you. Talk about poor customer service! I just exchanged him at Wal-Mart today for a new working one and he works great. Ours is loud and annoying like any other sound-activated toy and he was banished to the kids playroom in about 20 minutes (the song and the sound of his voice were annoying me).
He tumbled fine on the tile flooring, and only occassionally falling when on the carpeting (usually when he was in a headstand and wiggling his feet).
Tigger is a great toy and lives up to what was advertised. One of my kiddos squeals in delight every time Tigger tumbles and the other 2 fight to get close to Tigger so they can yell "Tigger!" and get him to tumble more.

I have a two year old nephew who just adored this Tumble Time Tigger; well he adored it for about two or three days but eventually became tired of it.
First off, I would like to say that NO toy on the market will captivate a two year old's attention for too long, but still I expected him to get a few more weeks out of this one. He has a few other bouncing toys that he simply adores, but I think part of the reason why he has not fully warmed up to the Tumble Time Tigger is because it scared him the first few times it came on. He jumped back and cried in terror for a little while, but he began to giggle after only a short period of sheer terror...ah to be young again.
I rated this toy 4 stars because I think, if you have a kid who does not scare too easily, or become bored after mere moments, this toy will be quite enjoyable for most! Sadly, not so much for my nephew, but I can imagine some little kids loving this thing! Good luck with your shopping and be safe this holiday season!

i ordered this toy for my nephew for christmas! i thought he would love watching tigger bounce and tumble. i had read online about the challenges with this toy and what to do with the tag in the battery case to make sure tigger moved properly. my brother in law and sister in law took the toy home and tigger would not work. infact, tigger smelled like he had been washed and them packaged. this toy was labeled on amazon as a "new" toy and I thought what i was purchasing was a "new" toy. i have to say that my nephew is very young and will never know the difference of how this toy works, but his uncle and myself will know. his uncle is overseas at this moment and wanted our nephew to have this specific toy. we are saddened that it did not work like we thought it would. this has been my first bad experience with amazon so i don't want to come off too harsh, but we are still disappointed with this product.Customer Review: Tumble time Tigger is a Flop

My son owns a lot of Tiggers toys as tigger is his favorite. But the Tumble time Tigger was a complete waiste of time and money. We bought him and tried him out and returned him the next day for a full refund. The Tumble time Tigger doesn't tumble at all no matter the surface you use it on or how loud you clap and chant. We tried it on the counter, table, hard floor, and carpet. In the end he always flopped over on it's side like a fish on land. We tried clapping and cheering for the toy as advertised and nothing but a big flop. Honestly if three people clapping and cheering for it at the same time isn't loud enough to get it to work. It doesn't work like it should and you can forget a small child being able to operate it. It's my opinion that the Tumble time Tigger is a waiste in time and money. Hey my name is Kylie and I am turning 15 years old and I am a big fan of Tigger ever since I was like 4 years old (back in 1995) and I love all the Tigger toys.My parents bought me this Tumble Tigger for Christmas and I love how it works so well.I also have the Tigger that bounces and it still has the same batteries from 1999.This Tumble Tigger is also a very good toy.I give the Tigger 5 stars because this toy is so cool even though I am turning 15.Don't listen to like other people who gave it bad reviews.I think the Tumble Tigger is worth every penny.The Tigger afterall tumbles and flips so well that it has no problem.Tigger is sooooo CUTE !
