Customer Review: A cooperative game for even the most ardent bully...
Summary: 5 Stars
As an elementary school social worker, I like to keep a variety of games and play activities with which to engage my kids. "The Secret Door" has elements of both the card game "Concentration" and the board game "Clue." As a cooperative game, it is a refreshing contrast to (sometimes) visciously competitive games such as "Sorry" (which I also like). I find that even the most ardent bully melts into the spirit of cooperation when playing this game. The only drawback is the near weightlessness of the tiny cards which are extremely easy to lose or misplace (once on the bottom of my coffee mug). Whenever a child stands at the shelf where my games are stored, I find myself thinking, "I hope she picks 'The Secret Door!'"

A mystery game! Valuables have been stolen, and we have to find them before Midnight. Together we search through the Mansion for clues. At Midnight, the Thieves may slip away with all the hidden booty!Winner of the 1992 Parents' Choice Award, this is a game to challenge budding detectives. Players work against the clock to discover which three treasures are hidden behind a secret door. The 12-inch game board illustrates a mansion setting, complete with a Dark Tunnel and an Observatory. Small cards, depicting either valuables or clocks, are dispersed facedown across the board. Players turn over two cards at a time. If a clock is drawn, time is running out and thieves might get away with the three hidden treasures! Children will have fun testing their memories, cooperating with their teammates, and honing their detection skills with this game.
