Customer Review: Enjoyable family game that won't poke holes in the walls

My son has wanted a magnetic dart board for quite some time, and after doing some research this is the one the family got for him for Christmas. It has proven to be great fun for all of us, but it has one issue. I'll go over the good parts first, then explain the problem.
I am very impressed with how durable and heavy this board is. It feels like weighted felt to the touch but it obviously has some kind of iron-based liner inside so the darts stick to it. It is attached to a sturdy bar with a heavy-duty hanging cord tied on each end, so hanging it up is easy when you have a place picked out. Though this kind of mounting is ideal for a doorknob, that would make the board too low so another mount point is required. This is not an issue but it's an important thing to consider. A coat hook seems to be ideal.
There is a target printed on each side of the board, so there are two different scoring systems. So, you can play traditional darts or use the other system which is a graduated multiple-of-ten system. This is a matter of presonal preference and mood.
The board comes with 6 plastic darts with flat, magnetic tips. These feel good in the hands and throw nicely. I tried tossing them underhanded and they still managed to right themselved when they reached the board about 20' away (though my aim suffered).
The problem lies in that the darts do not always stay where they hit. Sometimes they slide down the board and may or may not right themselves. It can be frustrating when a good number is hit and the dart decides to slide off the circular target and onto the black. I have not figured out if this a problem with the board (cloth covering too thick) or with the darts (need stronger magnets).
This dart game has proven to be a lot of fun, especially for my son, the happy recipient. It is good, clean entertainment that the whole family can enjoy for either a short time or for hours on end. Overall, this was a good purchase.
