I bought a couple of these cigars to use with a costume. They're not the sturdiest things in the world -- the "ash" at the end of the cigar broke off after a while -- but seeing as it's basically a tube of cardboard filled with powder and cotton, I wasn't really expecting much. I bought two, since I wasn't sure how long the powder would last. For a costume you're wearing once, like for Halloween or a costume party, just one cigar is probably just fine. In the end, it serves its purpose. I haven't seen any photographs from the event that I wore the costume to, so I don't know how realistic it looks from a distance or in photographs, but I was satisfied with it. If I need fake cigars for a costume again, I'll probably go with these unless someone points me towards something equally cheap they think works better.
