My 11-year old, a big fan of Project Runway, spotted this in Highlights toy magazine and wanted it. She is really enjoying it, but it does require patience on her part and supervision on mine. I don't know if Amazon will print my review, but I gotta tell ya, their price for the exact same product (listed as $199 on 12/22/08) is almost 5 times the amount we paid. I purchased the fashion design studio for my 10 year old niece who wants to be a fashion designer. She loves it! Of all of the presents she received from other family members etc. she started playing with this immediately! She was so proud when she put together her own couture creation! We gave it to her for her 10th birthday because she is currently interested in fashion design. She plays with is constantly and has even persuaded her 12 year old brother to join in. This was the perfect gift for an artistic 10 year old. It is fun, requires imagination, promotes new skills, and offers pride in accomplishment.Customer Review: Adopted Granddaughter loved this toy.

I bought this item for my neighbor's child whose grandmother lives in New Jersey while she is here in
Georgia. I call her my adopted grandchild. She loves this type of toy.
Actually, she loves working with her mind and her hands so this was perfect.
