Construction is terrible, provided screws don't hold anything, takes hours to put together. Has no manual, must be downloaded from the website, does not connect to a Mac even though the Mac finds it in its airport and the telephone help line is always busy, prompting to call another day. After having spent over 20 hours trying to connect it...I finally gave up. We never saw it in action, but after reading some trouble shooting blogs I realized, that this was a mistake.Customer Review: Don't waist your money

The good news is...I beleive this toy has been discontinued. Don't waist your money. This is a put-it-together toy. The problem is that the plastic pieces that hold everything together are of such high juck quality that they repeatedly fail. We've not gotten this toy to stay together (mulitple failure points) long enough to play with it. Given the money we spent, this is the worst toy we've ever purchased.Customer Review: Spykee

This thing is great and I got a rocking deal from COSTCO ($214.00)
Takes a while to build dependent on the configuration - but that gave it time to charge.
My Kid loves it he thinks its WallE
Camera works great - surprisingly enough.
The coolest thing is how it drives itself back to its base for recharging....

We got this for my son for Christmas. He was so excited, but this was short lived. My son is a very tech-savvy 10 year old. My husband had to build it for him, the arms will NOT stay on and the spykee does not charge when it is in the charger. We have spent hours and hours on this 'toy' to no avail. Got it as a gift and had fun from the get go. The network based control is easy to setup and ready go quickly. Right now my brother is controlling it from 1000 miles away. He's running it around chasing the dog. With the built in mic and speaker we can have a conversation with a interactive device then just a stand alone webcam and computer.
