Customer Review: Great toy for engineers and robotic

This is a great for engineers and robotic enthusitics. I spent about 6 hours building, the robot. The instructions are somewhat hard to understand, but that is part of the challenge of building it. I had to restart the build and found that an early mistake caused a few things not to connect properly.
The network connection as a bit of a challenge, but again, this is part of the challenge. I liked solving the problems, but for the general public, this may not be right for them.
Actually, when I think of it, I was assuming, I would just pull it out of the box and it was ready to go. Not so. They should sell a version already built and many people will probably be happier.

This is one way to make your wife's life a living hell!
I have been watching my aunt try and assemble this toy since 10 am this morning... It is now almost 3 and the thing is still not working properly. Between pieces continually breaking and the 27 pages worth of directions being almost useless (they had to include inserts for the miss printed pages in the manual...) your better off poking yourself in the eye for several hours instead of wasting your time with this toy.
If, after all of this time the thing doesn't work, we will be tying it to the bumper of our car and dragging it all of the way to Vermont!

This Robot was is amazing. As soon as I got it I loved it . It took me all of New Year's Eve and some of new years day. It has over 200 parts . Once I Went to [...] and downloaded the manual and console I just had to charge it and then I was ready to go! When I first turned it on it beeped and then I started to drive it . As I examined the different things I could do , I noticed the sound effects , they were amazing. The wa-ha-ha-ha!!! was one of my favorites. Some mp3 drag and drop difficulties and some difficulty with the VOIP phone ( could hear the other person but they couldn't hear me) , but all in all, it was a wonderful robot .

I recieved the product as described from Amazon, although the package was slightly damaged. The assembly direction are okay at best. Upon completing the assembly the drive unit did not work. I called spykee's support number and recieved someone in France after waiting for 1 hr 15 min. and then found out that I needed to send an e-mail to the company to find out how to get the product repaired. It has been three days and I still have not recieved an e-mail back. BEWARE OF THIS PRODUCT DUE TO BAD CUSTOMER SUPPORT AND SERVICE. I RETURNED MINE.Customer Review: Battery doesn't charge

Bought this from Woot but the battery never held charge. Charged overnight on 'OFF' and also tried charging overnight on 'ON' positions. Comes to life while on the cradle but ones the connection is made via wifi, it keeps giving me the status of 'Charging' or 'battery low'. Whenever it leaves the cradle via the forward button on the software, it dies and the connection is lost.
I have read a lot of reviews with the same issue.
I'm trying to search for a replacement battery.
