Toys and Games Reviews of Family Feud Game 3rd EditionCustomer Review: Don't expect too much in the box, but it's still lots of fun Summary: 4 Stars
I played this game at a friend's house last night and we had a great time. There were about 14 of us in the game and it still would have been fun with more. I agree that you might be disappointed with what is in the box - basically a scoreboard and a book with directions and survey questions. I disagree about the difficulty of using the scoreboard, however. Just use a write on/wipe off marker and it will be easy to remove the writing. A crayon would be a bit more work to remove each round, so don't use one. You can make up your own rules as far as doubling or tripling scores in each round. We didn't even bother with play money - you can easily keep score without it. The game was just a lot of fun to play with a group, and I'm going to buy it for my family to use.
Customer Review: Endless Games Gored A Great Game Summary: 1 Stars
Having all of the Milton Bradley and Pressman editions of Family Feud, Endless Games' latest version is the weakest of this bonafide classic home game. The nostalgic feeling of making bell sound effects while pulling the slides has been silenced with a couple of crayons and a wipe-off board with no feet to prop up the board on the floor or table. To their credit, Endless Games has released several quality games, i.e. Concentration and Password, but their Family Feud edition is a dud. With the success of Louie Anderson's "Feud", my hope is for an updated edition with a deluxe plastic game board.
Customer Review: Good game but more could be done. Summary: 4 Stars
The game stays true to the original format of family feud but the game board was not up to standard. It was a sheet of cardboard that all answers were to be written onto. No one wants to handwrite answers onto a board. I was expecting something similar to the 3rd edition if not better. The questions and answers were fabulous but that board threw me for a loop. When making another edition please consider something different than the current gameboard.
Customer Review: Lets start the Family Feud! Summary: 4 Stars
Endless games has this bad habit of either doing a good version of a game... (i.e. "Password") or a bad version of a game (i.e. "Pyramid" or "Price is Right"). This one falls somewhere in the middle. While all of the elements are there, the 'on the cheap' production which has everything made of cardboard makes this inferior to the old Milton Bradley versions of the game. Check various auction sites for those, or buy this version if you absolutely must.
Customer Review: Survey says!-A Fun game! Summary: 4 Stars
Endless Games has brought back the Feud as a great game.Even though the new Family Feud has change, this version is truly base on the Dawson/Combs years. The game board is colorful, but I wouldn't use the crayon that is inclued.Get a dry-erase marker,it will save wear and tear on the board. This game is great to have for parties or classrooms.Survey Says! Get it!
