We bought this 2 years ago for our boys, when they were 10 and 8. They still play with it occasionally. They have built the am radio, the "electronic cat" sound maker, motorcycle sound maker, LED flashing light, and the emergency siren. And those are just the projects we can remember them doing. I had one of these when I was a child and I thought that my daughter would enjoy it. When I received it I of course had to try it out and make sure it worked...brought back memories. My daughters love this kit. Every time tey open the box they try a different experiment. My job is to guess what sounds they are creating. It will certainly tap into a child's curiousity. Purchased this for our wonderful geek head nephew as a gift...a complete hit! We also bought him a soldering station and taught him how to use it. The boy was elated! Really liked the product...you get hours of enjoyment for your money! Perfect for young builder/ creator type kids!
